We absolutely LOVED the Hotel Enza! The location is great - far enough away that it is quiet and close enough to everything that the big attractions are about 10-15 minutes away by foot. We timed our walk to the train station and it was 12 minutes, so very good if you are relying on train travel. It had a...

Stayed for one night and like it because it's clean and pretty strategic to walk to the city center but the streets leading to the hotel can be pretty scary for a female to walk back alone at night.

Great Value, terrific location within easy walking distance of the Central Market and the Academy. My daughter and I stayed there for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. The room was large, especially by Eurpoean standards. Bathroom was small but clean. Free internet acceess included. What more could you ask for?

Hotel Enza is a small family hotel set in the heart of the antcient city of Florence. A two star hotal,it is affordable and provided us with a room with a garden view, ensuite and Italian breakfast. The staff were most welcoming and spoke English. The hotel is wothing a slow ten minute walk of the Duomo, the "David" and...

I reserved one night for mid August 2005. Accomodations for family of six was one quad with bath 90 euro ($112) per night and one double with bath 65 euro ($80) per night. Breakfast was available for an extra 5 euro per person so we ate on street. All rooms were good sized, clean, but a little dated. There is...

I travelled around Europe for 2 months and stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in June finding it really good value. It's about 8 minutes walk from the train station and easy to find. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. My room had a lovely little balcony overlooking a garden and while I didn't have a bathroom...

We stayed here for 3 nights and were very pleased. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk from the train station (which feels longer with luggage) and an easy walk to the Cathedral and all the other sites of Florence (the historic centre is pretty compact). For 65 euro we got a good sized room with a private bathroom...

I stayed one night at the Hotel Enza, and was very happy with my choice. The room was comfortable and very clean, and the price was excellent. Moreover, I found the location convienent -- not too close in to the sights, and hence more quiet, but still convenient to everything. The staff were friendly and helpful. I plan to stay...

This hotel was well worth the money. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Only negative was that there is a lot of noise from the street.

We spent three nights at the Hotel Enza in Florence during January, 2005. It had not been reviewed by Tripadvisor so we went by the Hotel's description and some other user reviews. First, the hype. The hotel descrbes itself as a converted mansion. I guess that depends on your definition of mansion. It is not 200-300 meters from the train...
