The building is located less than a 10 minute walk from the station and ideally situated to discover Florence. We stayed for 3 nights in room 4 of the b&b. The rooms are located on the 3rd floor of an old building, which does not have a lift. The sizable room had comfortable twin beds, good quality pillows and bedding....

A friend and I spent one night at Locando Dei Guelfi and couldn't think of a better location in Florence to have booked a B&B. Fantastic service by Percy and Pilar, a comfortable bed and very tasty breakfast. I have to also mention the amazing views from the Terrace, which can be best enjoyed at sundown with a glass of...

Stayed for a short 3 nights with husband and 6 friends. Yes, it is at the top of a beautiful old building near the heart of Florence, but, the lovely people who run it are more than happy to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Spectacular views from the terraces and a short walk to el Duomo and...

Small hôtel, just 7 rooms. Located on the 3th floor. Important point there is no elevator! Somewhat unfortunate everytime you come back from walking all day! The room was ok, noisy with the traffic near by and the people celebrating on the street. The staff was very nice carrying our luggage. Well centralized you can walk everywhere in the city....

We stayed here in Florence for one night after spending a week in Tuscany for a friend's wedding. We got a coach from Pisa to the Santa Maria Novella station in Florence and it was a ten minute easy walk to Locanda Dei Guelfi. When we arrived, the gentleman on duty came downstairs to help us with our bags as...

If you are looking for the authentic, lovely, relaxing, non corporate-chain-like way of stay, go to Locanda dei Guelfi. Everything was just great - from room (high ceiling, old building) & cleanliness, nice hosts, breakfast to the very unique atmosphere and attention to detail - not to mention THE view from lovely breakfast balcony or rooftop terrace. Top!!

A very quiet and homely feel to this very warm and friendly bed and breakfast. Pretty close to the Firenze rail station.... The disadvantages?? It's not easy to find this place!! There's no big board or sign, just a tiny name at the entrance to the building... and yea..there's no elevator! which means if you have heavy luggage (and a...

When we go to Florence this is without a doubt where we will be staying. Loved the breakfast and the location. The view from the rooftop is why will go back. Nothing better than a bottle of wine and that rooftop. It's a great B&B. We actually stayed back in 2014 and hopefully again soon.

This B&B is situated within easy (less than 10 minutes) walking distance from the main train station, about 5 minutes to Central Market and the Duomo and many of the main attractions. Our room was a good size, well presented and had a view to the busy street below. Noise from outside was not an issue, a quiet hotel (but...

We spent a week at this accommodation and overall were very pleased. It is well located, with easy access to all the major sightseeing destinations in Florence. A good variety of well priced restaurants are within very easy reach, as is a convenience store, supermarket and laundry. We found the breakfast to be fine and plentiful (although my husband would...
