I would give it zero star if I could. We booked through agoda, where we were provided a picture of the room that we would be getting which was a double. Upon arrival, room looked completely different- turns out the room that we booked, was given to another person. When we brought this up we were told: -You booked a double, this is a double so what is the problem? - for one that is NOT the room we booked. Two it’s not even the same colour! Paints peeling away, so dated, room smelt of I don’t know what..... -If you have a problem then leave- it was 11pm when we checked in. Man at the reception did not even apologise or try to make amends. HE GOT AGGRESSIVE!!! started to throw his hands up and shouting. Thankfully contacted Agoda who told us to send a picture of the room we were given. They agreed it was not the room we booked and refunded us the money and helped us book elsewhere as this man was completely a waste of space. Again this happened at 11pm in a foreign country being told to leave because the business could not deliver what they had promised. When we called reception to say we want to check out- replied with “great”. No remorse or apologetic. This guy doesn’t care about customs in Florence I am sure there are a lot of tourists. Do yourself a favour and book else where. Pay a little more for better. You deserve that. Do not waste your time.

Lovely residence, fabulous location. While Florence is fairly small, this is quite central to all the main spots and to rail station. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room, while not the most modern(I actually prefer this style when staying in historic places), was well kept, spotlessly clean and had everything required for a very comfortable stay. Breakfast(continental) was more than adequate, with a nice selection and coffee(as always in Italy) was tasty and fueled my mornings of walking miles round this beautiful city. If(when) I return, would certainly stay here again. Book without hesitation.

I have stayed at this B&B twice....neither time was I disappointed. I stayed in two different rooms and both were beautiful! Whoever designed these rooms knew what they were doing (they are beautiful)! The location is a 10+ and so is the breakfast. This B&B puts out only top quality food that is to be enjoyed by all, and the cappuccino and espressos are perfect too! The staff is very friendly as well. We will continue to stay here when we visit Florence again.

We stayed in the suite for 2 nights. The hotel has very strategic location. All places you want to see in Florence are walking distance, not more than 5min to the train central station and tram T2 to the airport. The room was well equipped, clean and spacious and staff was friendly. But the minuses are following….. insufficient water pressure so you cannot have really hot shower. May be in summer nobody needs it, but when we come, the room temperature was little bit over 20C. There was no real comfortable blanket…. The solo topic is breakfast. They serve breakfast in the reception in 2nd floor. Really tiny place. Very low comfort to have a breakfast there. At the bar there is a place only for one person. If all tables are busy, somebody can’t move and go for food without asking another person to give him space… really unpleasant. The choice of food was as well limited, no hot dishes like eggs or sausages, ham etc. We have chosen this hotel as well because of the references “nice breakfast”.. I have to say, it’s not reality. I like the room, but I don’t see value for money.

Perfect location for all the main sights in Florence. We stayed 4 nights - the room was large (massive bed, sofa, desk, furniture & mini bar ) comfortable and sleep was OK given central location. Staff were friendly, breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The local restaurants and bars were all pretty good, the people friendly. Mini supermarket 100 yards away. 10 mins stroll to/from the railway station with direct access to Pisa (1 hour on the fast train).
