I highly recommend this location. Great host, very nice and clean rooms, safe parking, close to city center. The most helpful host that I ever met. When I will come again in Florence I will stay again at this hotel.
This hotel has the friendliest staff. They are always willing to accommodate. The location is amazing, very close to the Arno River and easy access to the city central. It is also less than a 10 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station.
I stayed here for three nights with my Son. We arrived about 8.30pm on a friday night and were met by Valerio, who was very welcoming and helpful. He gave us lots of advice and places to visit. Our room was very clean and with TV, free wifi and Tea/coffee. We ran at the local parkrun which was 15 minuet walk away and the City centre 10 minute walk the other way. Very close to river and nice riverside walks. Altogether a excellent hotel in a nice quiet area of the city.
A cosy hotel near the Arno. The receptionists are very kind, helpful and proactive, and breakfast is very well served. The room was well equipped and the bathroom quite spacious. The only two suggestions I’d make are, one, provide soap and shampoo on a daily basis and not upon request; two, be nice to the environment and don’t change towels every day unless passengers ask: thousands of litres of soap can be saved in this way. The rest was really good! And the staff really made us feel at home!
If you like large modern hotels with spas, pools, etc, this isn't the place for you! It's a fairly small hotel, with limited facilities, in a quiet location and it has a small team of very kind, efficient and helpful staff, all of whom seem to speak much better English than I do Italian!. Our beds were comfortable, with extra pillows etc available and the bathroom/shower were fine. Large breakfast room matched by the wide range of items available - far more than I'd expected, in this size/type of hotel. The courtyard garden is also a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a glass of Chianti classico, which is available in the hotel at only 3 Euros a glass (less than we paid in any of the restaurants we used, during our week's stay). I would definitely use this hotel, again, if/when we make another visit to Florence.…
From the Bacony of my georgious, cozy room at Hotel Crocini, Florence Italy, I could see the birds in the garden awake a new day of exploring Tuscany ,.. this wonderfulhotel is very well located,.. close to the main attractions of the city and in a highly secure location of the town,.. the staff is very friendly and informative also ,.. the room was very clean and with high ceilings,.. a quiet outdoors and the Breakfast is very good also ,.. Yes !!! I Highly recomended Hotel Crocini.. Very clean 5*, great location and a wonderful friendly Staff ,.. !!!
Our stay at Hotel Crocini was pleasant and u eventful . We liked the location as it was walking distance ( about 1 Km) from the train station and near a lot of eating places. And wonderful to walk along the river to Ponte Vecchio and the cathedral plus Uffizi Gallery . The rooms are small and washroom even smaller but all utilities are there .. the breakfast was good and the staff very polite and helpful specially Valerrio ( hope I got ur name right 😬) . Overall we were all happy with our stay
Stayed here whilst visiting Florence for Imagine Dragons concert in early June. The hotel was about 20 minutes from arena and same the other way into main centre. Our room was perfect. Ground floor with double bed , very clean en suite, safe and air conditioning. We were only there for 4 nights but the room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The breakfast provided each morning was good. We did a trip one day with an early start and they provided a takeaway breakfast ,which was much appreciated. Once or twice we had wine and beer from reception and sat in the sunny courtyard. Nice wine and a full glass which was not the case in many restaurants ! Only 3 euros as well ! Lastly, i must mention the staff. All very friendly but a special mention for Valerio. He was very helpful when we had problems with our safe and for giving advice on the concert and our Cinque Terre tour. Valerio thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable. Not sure if we will ever be in Florence again , but will definitely stay here again if we do return. …
We stayed here in September and I fully recommend this hotel. The staff are super helpful and friendly, especially the owner Lorenzo! The rooms are comfortable and spotless. The breakfast tasty and plentiful. We loved the 15 minute riverside walk to the centre of Florence. And just a 10 minute stroll to the train station. For us it was perfect!
A beautifully quiet hotel, close to the main station with friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary tea, coffee and water (unlike our hotels in Venice and Rome). Just loved the old furniture in the breakfast room and would recommend a glass of w/o e in the courtyard before venturing out. Staff quick to fix minor problem with shower. Close to Arno river so pleasant walk into city centre. Favourite of our three hotels.
