We reserved a room at Casa di Barbano for two nights in November. Due to unforeseen plumbing problems, the woman who runs the B&B told us that our room would not be available. She was very apologetic and made arrangements for us to stay in a little hotel across the street. We checked into the B&B the next day, after...

We stayed 2 nights at this lovely little b&b. Situated on the outer rim of the historical centre of Florence and easy access to all the attractions. There is no parking for visitors - residents only. Parking is one of the big parking facilities about a 20 minute walk away, it's expensive (about 38 euro per 24 hours) but secure....

Lovely place to stay. On a quiet street, but within walking distance of everything. Hostess very charming and helpful. She is originally from the US, but is now married to a man form Italy. She has lots of information about Florence and its sites. Breakfast was a warm sweet croissant, along with some yogurt, hard rolls, cream cheese, jams, tea,...

My husband and I stayed at Casa di Barbano from April 28-May 1. We would highly recommend staying at this B&B. The owner is an American woman who is always happy to help you with tours information, restaurants and any other advice you need regarding Florence. The decor of the B&B is a very florentine style and is beautiful. I...

My sister and I were told about this B&B from some friends who have stayed there. We stayed at Casa di Barbano for two nights. The couple that run the hotel are very helpful and have lots of great tips for dining and things to do. The hotel is located on a quiet street close to the train station and...

We stayed at Casa di Barbano two times and found it to be a comfortable, enjoyable oasis in a city swarming with overpriced, not-too-friendly hotels. The B&B is run by a friendly American woman who is more than happy to guide you to your favorite destinations. The rooms are comfortable, well appointed, and quiet. It is very convenient to the...
