If you are considering this hostel, click back on your browser and choose another. We received and email before arriving stating that reception is open from 9-1pm, this is not true. We arrived just before noon to find the place abandoned and waited outside for nearly an hour before the owner happened to walk by. We tried calling him and...

We were 4 people to visit Florence and booked at here from 2 different sites: booking.com and hostelworld. We had to pay full price via booking.com. But at the end the hotel charges us some extra fees without any explanation. So we asked and the only response we could get was "you want the sheets or not?". So we understood...

The only good thing about this place is location ... very close to the railway station and the good sightseeing places. room was bad, quite uncomfortable, NO WIFI... the room looked something like 1990's just two beds and a working shower. in one sentence, "i won't have paid 60 euros for this had i seen the room"

Prior to arriving we canceled one night with Fabio via email. After getting lost and arriving late ISH was locked thankfully the restaurant next door called for us and the owner yelled at us for not contacting him when we had no phone to contact him on because we just arrived in another country. He left a note with the...

We booked our trip the day before and were happy when we found a private double room (with it's own bathroom and air-conditioning). Finding the hostel was easy, but as we arrived at 10am our room wasn't ready and we were told that if we came back at 11am it would be. We paid for our night's stay and the...

The moment we arrived there was two girls that was trying to get inside (no reception) and talk directly to the guy. Apparently via phone, he told them he wouldn't give...

I find the hostel to be in an ideal location. It is just 2 blocks away from the subway/metro/bus station. It was so close that we were able to go to Pisa and Siena from the station. It is very close to the city center. Florence is breathtaking at sunset. I recommend you see the sunset from the lower city...

If planning on staying in Florence, and considering this hostel, then re consider & read these points: 1. The owner ( who was never there, except to take your money, offer a mumbled explanation as to why the Wi Fi doesn't work or to not listen to you whilst you were speaking) is incredibly rude. 2. The Wi Fi is...
