Plenty of available automobile parking spots at just €10/day. From the hotel it is a short 400m walk to the Tram stop which takes you into the city center or to the airport. Also within walking distance are restaurants and grocery stores.
The team at the reception is friendly and attentive. The service at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner is excellent. Rooms are clean and I felt safe in this pandemic days. Thanks to all the staff!
We really enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect, the team was great but one of the restaurant crew ( Boguslawa) was extremely kind and everyday she would greet us with a great smile on her face , and we loved her hospitality. Overall, this is one of the best Hilton hotels we’ve been to in a long time.
My experience at the hotel great. Rooms are clean and well kept, staff is very kind and professional and breakfast is amazing. Location is also very good, can reach the center in few minutes using the tram. Thank you so much Giulia for all you have done. Will for sure come back.
This hotel is easely accessible both by car and tramway. It takes a between 10 to 15 minutes to reach the airport and more or less the same to hit the old town and train station. You can buy tickets directly on the tramway platform for 1.50 euros with your credit card. The hotel is really quiet. It is true that it does not have the look and feel of the new HGI you can find in Europe today, but the room are big and both bedroom and bathroom were really cleaned. Wooden floor in the bedroom, huge bed. The TV has hundred of channels but no Chromecast capability. Wooden floor means that it can end up noisy. I slept really well during my three day stay. My room was facing the quiet plaza. Maybe an extra cover could have been useful. This is unlikely as usually it is too hot in hotel rooms. It is true that the carpet in the corridor could be replaced because of stains but otherwise, everything is pretty cleaned. Be aware that room Cleaning starts as early as 08.15 even in week end. I did not try the restaurant. I would agree with previous comments on the breakfirst. It is reasonnably priced but the quality is poor. There are a lot of products fresh, cooked, pastries but look mostly industrial. The coffee machine is tasteless. The staff is great and really professionnal. You will find a small mall with a grocery store next to the tramway stop with good products. …
We stayed one night before flying out of Florence the next morning. This hotel is in a nice area, conveniently located 2 blocks from the T2 tram line which runs from the airport to the train station in central Florence. To the airport was about 10 minutes. We arrived at the hotel earlier than anticipated but a room was ready which was nice. The front desk staff was polite, professional and helpful in suggesting nearby eating establishments. The hotel sits adjacent to a large open plaza in the back and a beautiful park in the front. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. There is a nice bar/lounge area where we enjoyed wine on the outdoor patio. We would stay here again.
We stayed here the night before our departure to be near the airport for an early morning flight. It was an excellent choice - good rooms, near airport, tram to central Florence and across from a park. Staff was extremely helpful in arranging airport transport.
Nice hotel with helpful staff, good breakfast and lovely rooms. No problems, would definitely recommend for business or leisure. Easy taxi ride from center of Florence or you can take public transportation
We only stayed one night as our flight came in at midnight. Our Tuscany travel plans the next day would see us well rested and ready for the drive into the foothills of the Apennine mountains. Distance from the airport was so quick and the Hyatt desk clerk could not have been nicer. The lobby is spacious and very clean. We liked the modern decor with touches of the old Florence here and there (David head was a treat). Our room was not spacious but it was well-appointed. The shower and bathroom were exactly high on our list after nearly 2 days flying (that includes the 9-hour layover in Amsterdam). The bed linens were crisp and fresh and the bed was quite comfortable. What a great breakfast buffet! There was absolutely everything one could want. The breakfast room and outdoor seating allowed us all to put a little distance between ourselves and others. Before our ride came in the morning, we took a quick stroll around the area of the hotel. Very nice. This is obviously a residential area and it just felt like a neighborhood feels. Great overall experience, we would stay here again if coming into Florence. Oh, and just as an aside, Italy is not big on washcloths. We brought our own (bought a pile from Walmart so we could throw them away quickly). It's just something they don't supply here in Italy.…
Horrible, check in was ok then I was presented with a none smoking room which someone had been smoking in, then was moved to a room without air conditioning, the reason was because they had turned it for for winter even tho it was 27 today!! Then it turns out as my window was open that was the reason when In fact the window was broken so at midnight I am then back in reception to two night staff who need retraining in my opinion! Do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel. The floors and lift openings are filthy this hotel needs a revamp and new staff. Never again!!!
