Designed and owned by a renowned Italian Architect, the concept behind Riva Lofts was to offer an experience as if you were having friends over to stay at your house. I have to say, Claudio and his team have nailed that. Small and very well designed Riva offers a unique city experience located on the trendy left bank, directly situated...

Loved the hotel, the ambience, the big communal living room, the décor. There aren't great restaurants nearby by it's close to both the tram into the centre and buses. There are 'vintage' bikes but out of a dozen only 2 are useable - the rest have flat tyres, broken brakes, and various other problems. That was unfortunate as we had...

Hallo! thanks for your encouraging review, we are glad you and your family enjoyed your stay! We apologize for the poor bikes conditions, we are working hard to bring them back to their splendor, since it is a delicate balance having bikes for free, that don't look like tourist bikes, to be used by guests on the need and with...

magnificently transformed villa by the arno, 10' walk from the city center perfect taste with a pool! the staff is closer to family than to actual hotel staff the owner even rented a car under her name (during my previous stay, not the last one) for us to have one, since we had forgotten our driving licence. you have to...

We stayed for two days and this place was lovely. It's about a 20 minute walk down the river from the centre of the city or 5 minutes if you use the tram (which no one ever seems to pay for). Unusual for Italy, but this place forgoes the chintz and tat for tasteful minimalist style. Daily maid service with...

We stayed in loft number 7, a deluxe suite, as a treat for two nights at the end of our honeymoon. If you book a deluxe suite, request the other one! The room was an austere and cold concrete box with little light. There was no sofa and only two spindly chairs to sit on if you want to watch...

Dear Isabel, thanks for taking the time to write your review. I understand your point about Style over Substance, which is always a bit of a trick when dealing with architects and aestethes! Our Deluxe Studio n°7 is actually one of the most requested, as it opens on the garden and the lovely curtains gives a special touch, we never...

The room was amazing with a great view of the Arno River! The breakfast was really nice and the staff were excellent in helping give advice on where to go and what to do! The pool was quiet small but still nice for a quick swim!

Lovely area of solitude, guaranteed to be surrounded by only a small number of delightful other people. Luxury standard of accommodation. We booked through Mr and Mrs Smith but found it not to the same standard as their usual hotels. The staff were less engaging than usual and in particular the breakfast was not the standard we've had anywhere else...

Dear Paul, thank you for taking the time to write your review, it is always helpful to have different opinion, especially from experienced travellers like Mr and Mrs Smith ones. Thank you for appreciating our style. Coming to the flaws, we wish you to know that we are working hard to improve! Especially in our breakfast, which we wanted to...

Riva Loft, well suited on the south side of Arno River in Florence, is beautifully crafted with every attention to details. It's a sanctuary away from the tourist trips and close to local restaurants. They also have bikes-to ride to city center it's about 15 minute bike ride or a short taxi ride. It has a swimming pool, a common...

This is a special place - the architecture is stunning. The studios are high ceilinged, the ambience relaxed but cool. It is expensive but you get extravagant space for your money. We had a lovely canopied bed in our studio. The studios can get quite hot but the air conditioning is by the bed and is welcome. The bicycles provided...

Very charming and relaxing boutique hotel very close to the ancient part of Florence. Beautiful garden and pool area, very spacious and beautifully designed rooms. Only negative point was that the AC did not work at its max, so the room was a little sticky.
