We stayed there for only a night. After the day we planed to visit cinque terre, then we would return to Floence another hotel (becoz the day after was fully booked! We could only find other hotel!) We attempted to request for staying lugguges at the hotel. They offered us to put the luggages to the opposite hotel under the same company which has 24 hours reception service. They recommended to do so because of secuity concern. They were considerate and helpful. We appreciated the arrangement very much!
Very good location, close to the central train station of Florence and near the centre of the town. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was good. I would recommend this hotel.
The only good thing about this hotel is that it is close to the central station. Located on a second floor of a commercial building. No one at the front desk during evening. Room is huge and staff is ok. Bed is terrible. Impossible to sleep. Lots of noise from the upper floors during my stay. On a friday there was a party with people dancing and screaming on the upper floor. Breakfast was one of the worst things. Bread was like a stone. Don't reccomend. Wouldn't stay again.
Lovely little boutique hotel just couple minutes from station and 7 min walk to the cathedral and town center. Elena was extremely helpful and every morning served a lovely breakfast. Definately recommend!
Everything is just perfect in this hotel. Location is absolutely perfect, because it’s very near to railway station. It’s a straight road, just cross the road and there is your hotel Staff is very very helpful, cooperative and friendly. This is the best part and highlight of the hotel. We requested to pack our breakfast because next day we had our train early in morning and they did it for us. They are very accommodative Room and bed are quite big and spacious. Room is very clean. There is a tiny lift as well Breakfast was very nice and tasty Room is very attractive, as it gives us feeling of a palace It was hot and AC was working fine in our room All in all we loved our stay here, though only for a day
We had paid full charge for one night quadruple room of my family of 4. It was terribly hot in July and our room ac was not working. The lady at reception told she will get it checked. We also informed that as our train next day was at 8.30 am, could she arrange breakfast by 7.45 am instead of normal 8.00 am and she accepted the request. She was from Philippines but staying in Italy. When we came in night reception was supposed to be closed, however our ac was not fixed and we slept in the room for that night most of the time awake due to heat. So next day, there was a Italian guy at reception who I complained about Ac. He was extremely rude in his behaviour. He was unwilling to listen to me and insulted me not once but several times. He also therefore delayed the breakfast and we had to leave the hotel without eating breakfast which he could have easily managed. So I paid for room and breakfast for my family and our services were zero. While leaving I told him, that I will write everything on booking.com review as after all my stays they send me email and ask about review of the hotel. Now, very big complain of booking.com. The Italian guy informed booking .Com that I never stayed at his hotel. I stayed at his hotel on 6 July night. You can check the hotel register. Booking.com sent mail to me whether I cancelled my stay or I did stay. I informed that I paid full amount in advance and stayed at his hotel . Out of total 12 hotels that I stayed through booking.com in my entire Europe trip last month, they sent me mail for giving review of 11 hotels except this one........ Why Why is booking.com favouring this hotel…
Our second stay at this hotel , and we wont stay anywhere else in Florence . 2 mins from SMN train station , 5 mins to Mercato Centrale and 10 mins to the Piazza Duomo. Breakfast is great , with fresh fruit, yogurt and pastries. Our room was big with 4 beds , wifi is good. The lift is an antique curiosity. Highly recommended.
My family stayed here for 1 night. It's VERY central...right across from the train station, walking distance(5 min) to Marcato Central & 10 min to Dumo & Academia Museum. Room for 4 is very spacious with high ceiling. Breakfast to great & Wifi works well . I'd highly recommend staying here...price is reasonable for such a place that's so central!
good location (3 /5 min. away by foot from the train / bus station), close enough to the city center (5-10 minutes), clean, a bit noisy if you keep the windows open, but there is the air-condition that works very well. basic breakfast, very nice staff.
Very convenient spot in the centre of Florence, just a few steps away from the Novella station. The lift is a gem - slow and shaky but you should try it. The guy at reception was all smiles and friendliness. The room was spacious but needed a bit of tidying up. Watch out for mosquitos - there was no fumigator in our room so we had to ask. Overall good for the price.
