The hotel is located one small block from the Battistero and the Duomo, and about 10 minutes walk from the bridge. It is also located only 4 blocks from the station. Very well located indeed. The guest house is actualy an old apartment house (flat) turned to a hotel. The rooms are completely independent, with is own bathroom. My room... More

It was a pleasant surprise for our stay during our honeymoon at this B&B. Extremely convenient to travel all main sites and SMN station by foot. The owner was also very hospitable and allow us free use of computer to book our tickets in advance to Musuems. Can't think of any better accomodation for this price.

I can think of no better place to stay in Florence than Tourist House Battistero. Its location is excellent, 15 min walk from the SMN Train station, right next to the Duomo and in the heart of the city. It is also the most reasonably priced accommodation given the amenities during my extensive search for housing in Florence. It is... More

Tourist House Battistero Florence - A very "homey" feeling can be observed the moment you get to your room. There is an attached fold out bed besides the main bed, a big bathroom, a small kitchenette with a stove, pots, microwave oven and a kettle. The room is quite spacious as well and very relaxing. You will find all the... More

We stayed here for 6 nights and had an awesome time, the place is in an excellent location, the price is just right and the rooms are clean and spacious. The owners were also very friendly and helpful! One bonus is a honesty bar / frigo with bottled water!

This hotel was comfortable and in a good location in Firenze. The inn keepers were not on location but very accomodating. We stored our luggage on the last day and they provided us with a key to return and retreive our things! It was a good value for the money.

We stayed at the Battistero for 3 nights during our visit to Florence. The location is simply awesome- 2 minutes walk from the Duomo and bell tower, and short walking distance to academia and Ufici (we didn't book tickets in advance, so took the advice of Gabriella at the reception, arrived at the Ufici at 8:00 and were in by... This is a nice hotel close to the Duomo area. Clean room with a good bathroom and air conditioning and internet that works. The staff were nice and helpful but not there all the time. When I arrived no one was there and the door was locked. A phone number was taped to the door, but I didn't have to... More

Everything was very decent, the bed was great, flatscreen TV, AC working perfectly. NOTHING BAD TO SAY ABT THAT PLACE. It's not the most refine hotel in Florence... More

I highly recommend this place. It is so close to the Duomo and our room was huge and really clean. We had a big bed and air conditioner and the bathroom was new and clean and nice. There was even a flat screen tv. This was our cheapest hotel in Italy and our favorite at 50 euros a night. The... More
