Fantastic hotel off of the autostrada near Florence. We stayed a night along our drive. Parking is right behind the hotel for free. Fantastic staff. Covid clean & took every safety precaution. Instead of a buffet breakfast, you have a list of choices to check off & breakfast is delivered to your room at your requested time. The bar is available for drinks. The room was very clean & comfortably sized. Hot water for the shower was available. Very comfortable bed & pillows!!! Quiet!!! La Taverna di Castruccio for dinner is a short walk away. Excellent local restaurant with authentic dishes & a local fave. Perfect stay near Florence.

The service Since the front desk until all the staff members, amazing since the beginning and after the check out. I totally recommend it, the bedroom was super clean and nice, a really good environment and close from the tram to get to the city center. I totally recommend it! One of my best experiences in Florence for sure!!!!

We stayed in this hotel for 7 night. This hotel is very close to Florence and located in Scandicci. It's the best if you traveling by car. Parking is free and also free parking near train station Resistenza which is 15-20 minutes from Florence main train station which is located 10 minutes walk from everything. Owner is soooo nice. Make sure you try coffee in the morning made by him during breakfast which is included (simple but it's good to start your day. Many good restaurant in the area and also Coop food supermarket just across the street from the hotel. Thanks for the good stay

The hotel is run by a married couple who are very friendly and English speaking. The rooms were average, but the bathroom was so small you could hardly move, I had to dry myself in the bedroom. There was no where to hang your towels in the bathroom. The sliding doors to the balcony did not lock properly (the locks were faulty). Breakfast was average with just cold food no cooked breakfast. To get to the centre of Florence there is a tram stop about less than a kilometre walk from the hotel, and that takes you straight into Florence the city.

This is a charming hotel run by a very nice couple. We chose it because of the free parking (doing a driving trip of Italy). It didn't seem the best for those using transit. Rooms were typical size and were clean and functional. The breakfast was nice as well. The hotel is located in a quiet area with not much nightlife but the manager recommended an excellent local restaurant within walking distance - Ristorante Pizzeria L'aragosta.

Spent 2 nights there in June 2015. Roberto & Maria are the nicest people you could ever meet!!! Rooms were super clean, newly renovated, great price, delicious and fresh breakfast. Location is good, only a few minutes walk from the nearest train station that leads into the city, so with private parking in the back, we left the car there. The price and the cleanliness of this place, makes up for the few minutes walk though. If we would ever travel back to Florence, we know where we're staying!!!!

The hotel is just on the edge of Florence. It's unassuming from the outside but everything in the room and bathroom was brand new. The bed was the most comfortable one I've had on the trip. Wi-fi worked great. Free parking right behind the hotel. The owner was always around, spoke english and was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good with a particular mention of the really good pastries. From the hotel you can either walk 15 minutes to the Resistenza tram station or drive 5 minutes to Nelli-Torregalli one. We walked the first day and drove the second day because it was raining. We ate at 2 local restaurants, Liu and Sun, and L'aragosta. Would definitely return and no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Florence with a car.

Nice welcome from Roberto and he could not have been more helpful in checking us in and providing local information. This is a great location for getting into Florence. Easy free parking to the rear of the hotel. It's a 700m walk to the railway station and then a 15min journey right into the heart of Florence and only costs 1.20€ each way. Rooms are of a good size with newly fitted bathrooms and all kept to a good standard and very clean. Breakfast was very good continental fair with beautiful fresh croissants and pastries and bread with all the usual, cereal, yoghurt, cheese etc. The only negative was with the bathrooms as there is no toilet roll holder, nowhere to stand any wash bags or to hang wet towels but these are only minor points. It may well be that looking at the condition of the finishes the bathrooms have only recently been completed so may be work in progress. Also the shower trays are very slippery and the curtains ill fitting allowing water to wet the bathroom floor. Would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for somewhere easy to access by car, with easy access into Florence and very good value for money.

Ok for a cheaper place to stay near enough to Florence. Small rooms but if only for sleeping then no worries. Breakfast was basic but it was ok. Staff are nice. Car parking at rear. It's good for the traveller's on a budget and or a place close to the action without having to take the car all the way

Very nice and small family owned hotel. A bit hard to find. located very far from the old Florence city center, however accessible by car and have it's own free parking space. The room was small, and the bathrooms were tiny. The lady owner was VERY kind and helpful. The hotel itself is not very accessible by public transportation, however there is a BIG P+R 5 minutes from the hotel (along with a small shopping center with supermarket and electronics store) with a tram station the takes you to the central train station, right in the city center. There is also a small supermarket just across the roads. The breakfast wasn't anything special, however had GREAT pastries and other regular european breakfast foods. The reception was open 24/7, with the receptionists is also the bartender and cooker.
