The rooms are very basic, decor is a little bit random and could be improved but the size of the room was good was quite big. Bathroom clean but dated. It's a great base if you're wanting somewhere just to sleep, shower and rest as it's central and in walking distance which is what we used it for. The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful giving us guidance where possible. Breakfast was nice, not a huge variety but enough to start the day off.
Location was great. Nothing fancy. Clean rooms..Breakfast good. Staff friendly. Ask them for places to go. They all prefer to recommend spots to eat outside of the tourist spots. Just need to ask them. Riccardo knows fantastic location for lunch and dinner.
We booked via Tripmasters. Tiny 1st room, looked very rundown and had little insects we caught and showed to staff. They said no one was available to clean so we couldn’t be moved until the next day. The following day we were moved one more floor up to a much bigger room that appeared clean but a horrible odor/stench in the room by later in the evening. Later we found nail clippings in the corner of the room. Bathroom had steps that were easy to miss and very dangerously located and slippery after a shower. It was too much trouble to try and move again for a 3rd night when we had a day trip planned. Old and dingy and very loud doors/locks on the 4th floor with a separate area. We stayed at 3 star hotels our entire 10 days in Italy and this felt like a 1 star/hostel at best.
Location is perfect. Close to all the attractions. 15 min walk from station. When looking for it, it is located in same building as the Leonardo Di Vinci museum. Great staff, breakfast is good, eggs, cold meats, vegetables, yoghurt, cereals, pastries, bread, tea and coffee. No tea and coffee facilities in room but they will provide if you ask. Nice seating areas on each floor. Room was clean and spacious.
Superb location. Clean, comfortable with friendly and helpful staff! Beautiful old building with updated but quaint furnishings. Highly recommend this for an authentic experience in the heart of town.
As soon as we arrived, we were treated by lovely staff. They were very helpful and offered to keep our bags so we could explore while we waited for check in time. The staff also offered us a city map and some recommendations for what to see, eat and do during out time in Florence. The rooms were simple but very clean. The free breakfast was great! Definetly would recommend for your next stay in Florence !
A fantastic location for this hotel, 2-3 minutes walk to the Duomo and not much further to anything else either. The room was fairly basic, some strange/ unfinished decor on the walls but this didn't ruin our stay, just basic rooms that we were hardly in as we were out exploring the great city of Florence! Breakfast that was included was great in the morning, plenty to go round and a friendly last helping out at breakfast and topping up food etc. Reception staff were very friendly and offered tips on where to go and what sites to see.
value for money , clever managment of spaces ,clean big rooms with A/C ,with excellent breakfast the staff all of them kind and helpfuel. i strongly reccomend it ,since i travel with my family ( 2 adults and 2 children ) and this hotel have one of the most SPACIUS rooms and bathroom i ever book. from my room i can see the Duomo , meaning everything is on foot within meters PHOTOS MUCH THE TRUTH - BRAVO RAGAZZI . ( the only negative but its a win-loose situation is because of the location pretty expensive parking ----- there no one to blame and due to historical buildings small slow elevator - minor details only to be fair )
This was our absolute favourite place we stayed on our trip. It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. Centrally located, lovely morning breakfast, great AC which was a must because of the 40 degree temperatures. The staff is what makes this place extra special though. They provided so many great recommendations and gave us great directions we didn’t get lost once. They even provided recommendations for our next stop. Would definitely choose this place again going back to Florence.
We ended up booking this accidentally thinking it was hotel Duomo. 1) Location is good 2) staff are super helpful and friendly, the gal at the front desk pretty much made our itinerary for the day including best gelato place to visit. 3) rooms were clean and good size
