This hotel is absolute perfection. I echo others in saying we had a flawless stay. The hotel has the perfect balance of gorgeous historic architecture and furnishings but with fully modern amenities and meticulous upkeep. There is not a scuff mark, ding, or dust anywhere and the intricate design details and gardens are amazing. Service was outstanding throughout our stay, particularly from the doormen, front desk staff and housekeeping. They recognized us, always greeted us warmly and anticipated our needs. We were celebrating an anniversary and the hotel gave us several personalized surprises in our room that truly wowed us. Room service was wonderful and breakfast in the restaurant was also delicious. We were very happy to use the convenient free shuttle to get in/out of the historic center nearly every day. When we booked our Florence trip we split our vacation between the Four Seasons and St Regis and, in retrospect, we were sorry we switched hotels. At the St Regis we kept comparing it to the Four Seasons and, while very nice and less costly, it did not come close to the amazing level of the Four Seasons. Yes, the Four Seasons is expensive but we felt it was worth every penny. We have stayed at a number of Four Seasons, including Maui, but this one has truly topped them all.

I recently stayed at the Four Seasons and had a very enjoyable stay for the week I was there.

The hotel is situated in a beautiful palazzo with Renaissance architecture, intricate ceilings and art to be seen every corner you look. The central lobby of the hotel with the magnificent statue, luxurious furnishings and all the wonderful shops that line the corridors with is most impressive.

The bar is always a perfect place to be. Comfortable luxury furniture, great cocktails and live music daily. The vintage negroni is a must.

The gardens are beautifully kept and are such a peaceful thing to look at from your room and to walk in, especially after a busy day in the centre of the city.

The rooms of the hotel have large marble bathrooms with separate marble clad shower rooms and separate toilet and bidet rooms. Some even have a roll top bath with large windows which can open up with views across the lovely gardens. My particular room also had a spectacular view of the Duomo, which was unexpected. The rooms themselves, besides the bathrooms, perhaps could do with a little renovation to bring it more up to date but nothing too drastic as the classical design is perfect for such an historical building in such an historical city.

Breakfast was always of a very high standard, with perfect pastries and eggs with the most wonderful bright yolks.

Service is always attentive and friendly.

Despite some reviews of this hotel, I found the hotel to be pleasantly central, with the duomo and Piazza della Signoria a leisurely stroll away. Yet the hotel is on the edge of the centre enough to enjoy the peace and quiet of the acres of garden and the sounds of fountains and birds tweeting, it’s really quite tranquil.

The Four Seasons in Florence is certainly the best option for a hotel in the city and I look forward to returning in the future.

I thoroughly recommend this beautiful hotel for anyone visiting Florence.

This sprawling hotel in Florence has to be the most comfortable place to stay in the entire city. The furnishings, room size, amenities and staff make for a magical experience.

The restaurant Il Palagio left me feeling elevated mentally and spiritually. Gastronomically I was pleased and satisfied.

The level of customer service is world class. Present but not overbearing. My room was always attended to in such a way that I felt like a good friend was taking care of me in my own home.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel—through check-in, breakfast and meals, pool service, room service, and concierge—we were warmly welcomed and treated majestically.
All staff teams were brilliant, warm, discrete, and genuine with can-do and can-help attitudes. The chambermaids were the most thorough and professional we have ever encountered in our global travels over many years.
Maintaining the current standards of service, which are of the highest level, will ensure the Four Seasons in Florence, with its magnificent gardens, grounds, and facilities, remains a globally outstanding and unbeatable oasis in a city steeped in history, culture, and vibrancy.
Very well done to management and staff and our sincerest appreciation.

Just finishing a 4 night stay at the Four Seasons in Florence and we have been blown away at the level of service and attention to detail by every single member of the hotel staff. We've lived and traveled all over the world and have been lucky enough to visit many top hotels in Asia, North America and Europe but this is the absolute pinnacle.
The hotel grounds are magnificent! 11 acres of parkland with a wonderful pool/spa/gym complex accompanied by outdoor dining which served as a wonderful respite from the hustle & bustle & heat of the city just beyond its walls. Rooms are spacious and our compliments to the incredible housekeepers who came twice/day and anticipated our every need (even surprising us with fresh popcorn when we mentioned we were doing a movie night in our kids' bedroom one night).
We must mention Barbara at the Concierge Desk, who went above and beyond in every way, setting us up with an excellent tour guide and recommending a great bike tour/outfitter for a road biking tour of the nearby hill villages. Barbara is an outstanding concierge and really set the standard for enhancing a guest's stay and helping us make the most of everything Florence has to offer.
Four Seasons must have an incredibly rigorous training program because literally EVERY employee, from the men who were in charge of the pool deck to the wait staff to the doormen, remembered our names and were welcoming, gracious and beyond helpful. And somehow seemed incredibly genuine!
Thank you so much to everyone at this hotel for making this a very special and memorable trip to Florence for my family. We will recommend you highly and often to anyone planning a trip to Italy!

We had the pleasure of celebrating New Year's Eve 2023-2024 at this venue, and it was a beautiful event. The evening began with a delicious dinner in a separate room, adorned with stunning gala decorations. Although we don't have many photos, the setting was breathtaking (I can't share videos you're unfortunately ). After dinner, we moved to a different room where the dancing party started, counting down the year together with a lively crowd and live performances. Top-quality wine and champagne were served, making it an elegant place to celebrate and look forward to the year ahead. This was the perfect chance for me to wear my royalty collection dress, which I created, and it complemented the venue perfectly.

For more live videos of the venue, you can find them on my IG: porscia_yeganeh.

The front door staff was 6 ****** on arrival- friendly and accommodating. They handled our parking neatly and welcomed us in.
We enjoyed coffee and sweets in a lovely patio and garden.
The chocolates were lovely.

The gardens - only for guests use- may be the most beautiful in Florence.
The full menu is said by friends to be among the best in the city, recommended for lunch or dinner.

Prices are proportionate to the quality reputation and setting.

Spa, Gym and other services are beyond expectations in understated Europe. Curious travelers check prices before reserving.
A special shoutout to the Front manager and doorman, perfect waiter and all the gardeners.

We enjoyed a 30+ day European honeymoon and this property was the highlight selection of our Italy leg. This venue is deserving of it's Top 10 Hotels in the World by Conde Nast. We were greeted by knowledgeable concierge, check-in, baggage staff and upgraded to one of four corner balcony suites at arrival. There was champagne and a Happy Honeymoon-branded complimentary dessert along with daily fruit. Our package include a five star breakfast for two which we enjoyed in our room every morning. We used the spa (world class massage and facials), pool (perfect serenity), strolled the private grounds (largest in Florence) that included dozens of wonderful large metal art pieces and pergolas/sitting areas.

The hightlight of our trip was a candlelit, bridal Michelin star dinner in the chapel hosted by property GM Max (exemplary management professional). The room and food were exquisite and truly made for an unforgettable experience. Our servers were engaging and attentive while accomodating to special food and wine needs.

Hats off, this is THE place to stay in Italy and highly recommended.

Nothing beats this hotel. My husband and I travel frequently, and this hotel blows every other hotel out of the water. I really have no complaints. You will have a wonderful time in Florence if you stay here. Everything from check in to check out was a great experience. While this hotel is extremely pricey, if you are able to afford it, or make a splurge, it will not disappoint.

This hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed at, if not the best. It's in a historic building with decor that leaves anyone's mouth open. Flower arrangements everywhere.

The gardens are simply fantastic. It has a Michelin-starred restaurant.

The service is indescribable. From the reception staff to management. The concierge also provides a very competent service. They always have a great tip for restaurants, tours or whatever the guest needs.

Excellent breakfast and can be taken in the garden. It is not within the historic center, but after 10 to 15 minutes of walking you will be in Duomo square. There is a shuttle service and a support point in the center to serve guests.

The room is fantastic, with very tasteful decor, a great bed, and the bathroom doesn't even mention it.

It's worth every penny of the price it charges.

Dear Emma Thanks for the interest in our property. Guests are required to wear a mask while walking in the public areas inside the building, and they can stay by the pool and outdoor in the garden and restaurants without wearing a mask, but still respecting the social distancing measures.
