We spent 3 nights at MH Florence Hotel. The location is great (2mn walk from the train station) and the rooms very modern. All was clean and the staff very friendly. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast room service in place during the COVID period. We were however disappointed by the breakfast which was 100% made of industrial ingredients, the valet-only parking which is very expensive and difficult to find, and the spa that is accessible under advance reservation only... We therefore enjoyed our stay and recommend MH Florence for those who travel by train. Otherwise you probably better have to check another accommodation with parking.
Clean and friendly. Rooms are modern. Short walk from the centre of town. Make sure you use the tram at the main Florence airport. The Roselli tram stop is outside the front of the hotel. All tram journeys cost 1.5 euros. The machine is on the platform. Validate your ticket on the tram.
Booked this as part of a package and had read good reviews. Mostly agree with other reviews, it is modern and clean, however can feel a bit clinical/lacks in character. It's a great location close to the station and a 10-15 minute work into the centre and only a few minutes from the train station. Considering the train station is so close, and that there's a tram stop right outside, it's surprisingly quiet in the rooms when the door to the balcony is closed. The only thing we found with our room is that is was really hot (the thermostat wouldn't go lower than 20) so i dread to think what it gets like in summer. Breakfast was great every morning, with a pancake machine and the staff would make smoothies for you. The staff at breakfast were always super friendly. Didn't find the staff on reception quite as helpful though. Monday was our last night here and on Monday morning we went to book the spa (which was included in the package) to be informed that it was closed on Mondays. I hadn't seen any information about this on the spa pack and no one mentioned it at check in which was a bit annoying. Also at breakfast there's a sign saying all the things they do to help with the environment, yet when it comes to the rooms there's tiny plastic bottles for shower gel etc, they don't give you the option to keep your towel for another day and they take the bar of soap away and put a newly packaged one there which seems pointless. Overall I the hotel is fair value for money in a great location, but there are a few things they could do to make it feel more personable.…
We booked the hotel as part of a package trip so was a little wary of what it would be like but no need to worry as this lovely little hotel is great! Really good choice at breakfast, very friendly staff and a superb location only a few minutes walk from the station. The room itself was clean, modern and perfect for a few days away.
This hotel came as part of a really budget booking so had low expectation. The venue is not picturesque BUT... The hotel is only a 3 minute walk from the station (we arrived from Pisa) and there is an absolutely superb steak restaurant only 2 mins walk away. It takes around 10 mins walk to be in the heart of the old town and the major sights so, all in all, we found the location to be just right. The room was ultra modern and clean, it was serviced every day, and had all that you could want on a short break. Any longer than 3 - 4 days and it might feel a little small but it was literally a place to sleep and wash. Breakfast was great on each occasion. Despite the toaster not working the ladies tried their very best to keep everyone happy. Fresh juice brought to your table, an espresso or cappuccino made to order, fresh pastries and a nice modern feel to the dining area. Whoever was on reception, the service was excellent. It was clean, smart and efficient and we left with good memories.…
