I reaaally hope that the owner of this place had gone away for a holiday and pulled in a hopelessly incompetent relative to hold the fort, because that was the impression we got when we arrived! We were greeted by a lot of shouting and confusion - an Asian couple were deeply distressed after they'd been kept waiting outside for...

49 euro for the night of December 31, it's priced deceptive and overpriced ... for a Queen to you clean and defined with wifi between things inconsistent with the numerical rating 5 on cleanliness. The shared bathroom is just for 3 rooms including yours and like all BeB, other rooms have private bathroom and air conditioning. We are at 900...

There is no place for breakfast? Many photos show spaces. The stay was not to his taste in the master bedroom with bathroom, breakfast, free parking and city tax of € 49,00? Note 2.50 on value, service, comfort, but most importantly we do not understand, but "how it is that we be given voice vote 5.0 Assessment cleaning when she...

We stayed here for 1 night in early September 2013 and I think it was our worst hotel experience to date. Firstly it was almost impossible to find even with a good GPS - the signage wasn't obvious. Parking around the area was also difficult. Once we arrived, the room situation wasn't much better. We had a private room at...

Memory foam mattresses and acquagel, the springs are non-existent in our mattresses! We can not understand but 'how it is that we be given a negative evaluation of this thing is nothing short of incoherent and senseless. Remember that behind a service, there is always a lot of work for people who do their utmost to make guests' stay enjoyable....

The Albergo Houston is a small bed & breakfast that is conveniently located near the centre and the train station of Livorno. We had asked for a room with shared bathroom. Upon arrival in the hotel, the friendly hostess told us she'd given us a free upgrade to a room with private bathroom! The room was nice and clean and...

Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement! We enjoyed having you stay with us and you were awesome guests! As the owner/operator, I traveled a lot when I lived in the states. What I am trying to do here, is give my guests the same courtesy and respect that I expect when I travel. We will try...

Livorno is a good city to base oneself for travel to other nearby cities, as well as a good city to explore on its own. Hotel Houston albergo is a great alternative to higher-priced hotels. While it may not have the amenities of a 5-star hotel, it's definitely top-notch in terms of budget accommodation. The owners use hygienic sheets on...

Thank you for the wonderful review! We enjoyed having you as a guest! Hopefully you will come back in the near future, as we are in the process of expanding our services. Personally, I am sorry about your experience at the restaurant next door to us. We aren't affiliated with that company but as a result of your experience, we...
