This is the perfect bed and breakfast! The rooms are charming & beautiful, the breakfast is excellent, and the hosts are kind and welcoming and willing to plan activities, give restaurant recommendations, and recommendations of sights to see and things to do while in Lucca. This is one of the best hotels I stayed at while traveling in Italy. We...

What a wonderful time in Lucca. Brid and Stefano were wonderful, they were very accommodating and hospitable while also giving us our privacy. The breakfast that they provided was ample and delicious. The location on the main shopping street was superb. We had easy access to restaurants and shops. Taking a walk around the wall is a must. I would...

We found L'Antica Bifore by chance and I am glad we did. We spent in here one night only but I wish we could have stayed longer. Great location in a fantastic historic building in a unbelievable city, here it really does feel like getting back in time! The owners, Brid and Stefano, are very helpful for every need concerning...

The owners of Antica Bifore were very helpful . We enjoyed our stopover. Be aware that driving into the city is probably not your best option. Park outside the walls and carry your luggage . The building is fascinating and is in the perfect location.

Stayed at L'Antica Bifore for a week in October 2016 with my wife. Our hosts, Stefano and Brid, made our stay wonderful. We were made to feel at home upon our arrival. Great local information concerning Lucca and local "customs" was supplied by the hosts which made our stay highly enjoyable and easy. Breakfast each morning was lovely. Accommodation was...

This b and b is on the main shopping street in Lucca, a beautiful historic building - the view from the rooms was an extreme close up of the church facade - not something you often get to see! The owners were very kind and couldn't have been more helpful. It was particularly good as we were travelling as a...

We could not have asked for better hospitality. They are in a wonderful location and the rooms are clean. Staying here gave us a little more cozy feel than staying in a hotel with a lot of rooms. We would definitely go back if in the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay:)

Very centrally located. Easy walk to Puccini concerts; easy walk to the excellent restaurants recommended by Bride and Stefano (who used their charm and connections to get us reservations on busy rainy weekend!); and easy walks to wall and Piazzas. Of course, the inner city location means inner city noise... and a charming old historic building means a long flight...

A friend and I stayed here October 1-4 2016. Not far from the train station and right in the heart of the beautiful city! Stefano and Brid were the perfect host and hostess. They helped with recommendations on where to eat, what to see and were even so kind to call for a taxi for our trip to the train...

Terrific location. Not too long a walk from train station (easy...~ 10min) and convenient to anywhere within the walled city. Loved staying in historic building dating back to 1400s. Hosts had completely renovated the apt. when they bought some years ago, revealing brick, old beams, and high ceilings. Unique ambience within historic setting. Nice breakfasts. Also found hosts flexible relative...
