Great hotel. Right next to main square. Can recommend this hotel as I am fussy about my accommodation and could find no fault here. Stayed one night but could have stayed for more but itinerary didn't allow us.

Arrived there summer 2013, late June. Good and friendly service, small but clean room. Placed within the city wall gives you easy access to everything. Breakfast as elsewhere in Italy - small and sweet and espresso...

This boutique hotel is perfectly nestled in the old town within the Renaissance-era city walls, and about 10 minutes from the railway station by foot. I particularly like it's close proximity to a fresh produce store, pasticcerias, and the fantastic eateries in Via Cervia and Via Buia. I had a wonderful room facing Puccini's statue in Piazza Cittadella - clean,...

The location is just down a charming narrow alley, right off from a piazza. The city is very walkable and by bike you can see most everything in an afternoon! The front desk was so helpful and kind, and my room was small but it was just me and all you need over night is a bed and a bathroom...

This hotel is very small - but we could adjust to that, especially because the location is so very good. However the breakfast was very poor. There was no choice. The coffee was Cona, so was stewed. If you don't like jelly rather than jam you will be disappointed. I am sure a little thought on their part would have...

Right in the middle of Lucca so it is very easy to get around, situated on via di poggio and a great selection of restaurants, bars and tourist attractions just outside the door. Very friendly staff and more than happy to help if help is needed.

It's been a few years since I last stayed at the Piccolo Puccini and once again I had a wonderful stay. The location can't be beat, I love the small number of rooms, all of which are clean and comfortable with modern bathrooms. It was hot during my stay (90+ degrees) but the ceiling fans and big windows kept the...

Stayed here in June for two nights. Very basic hotel. First of all the positives: Excellent location, very central and the bathroom was clean. Rate was ok too. The negatives: Room was gloomy and dark and the bed was the most uncomfortable I slept in for my 2 week holiday. I didn't sleep at all the bed was so awful...

We stayed one night here, and it was quite pleasant. The hotel was fairly small, but the rooms were sized pretty good. There wasn't A/C, only a fan - but it wasn't very warm anyway. The rooms were cozy and nice. The main thing here was the location. It seemed very centrally located. Overral a nice hotel.

Location is super great as it's simply steps away from the main cathedral S Michele and restaurants on the backside of the building in a quaint piazza area. You really can't beat the location. The hotel was clean and tidy but probably a bit less luxurious than most of the other hotels that we stayed at on our 18 day...
