The place is cheap and very well located, but is as simple as it can be. There are 2 bathrooms, which are shared among the guests. The manager is very nice and helpful. We went on summer, and since it has no air conditioner, it was a problem, because the nights were very hot.

Although there is a shared bathroom there are actually three so there is never a wait and all are clean and very functional. The bedroom #3 is directly across from the facilities. There is also a full functioning kitchen and the owners have pasta and sauce there for your use along with tea. We were met out first afternoon and... More

Andrea has a very simple but nice set of rooms in a good location. he was able to accommodate 4 of us on short notice via email with a quadruple room and shared bath. There were at least 3 full bathrooms, plus a kitchen, so this was never a problem. The location is on a main street within the city... More

Perfect location just within the city walls, with walking access to everything, easy street parking, friendly reception, beautiful room for 4 people. We loved our stay here, and the shared bathrooms were not an inconvenience for one night. Good to have a kitchen with fridge to store food and possibilities to cook. Although our room overlooked the street, it was... More

This hotel is just inside the white city gate of the old town. Close to everything. Make sure you have a map! It is so easy to get lost on foot in Lucca. Our room here was for two couples. Very big with a double and two singles. Shared bathroom but there are two of them and both were clean.... More

Me and my family were going to stay at Da Elisa for one night, but as we came there, really tired a rainy sunday night, at 11 PM, we found a post-it on the door saying that "I'm sorry, no check-in after 9 PM". We had tried calling several times on our way but they didn't respond. I guess I... More

We stayed a familiy of 5 in a family room for two nights. The room faced the street (Via Elisa) but apart from the evening street life the place was nice and quiet. The room was big enough for the five of us, nice and clean as the rest of the property, though shaped by the charming decay that is... More

My granddaughter and I spent a very pleasant night here. It was comfortable and clean, and on a quiet, easy to find street, in easy walking distance of the town centre and of the train station. Although we didn't use the kitchen, I could see that it was clean and well equipped and would be very handy for anyone who... More

I spent 2 weeks in Italy with a single night spent in Lucca. The room was clean, wifi was better than other hostels and the location was a great starting point in order to explore the city. They had plenty of bathrooms and I also loved the fact it was in a quiet location.
