What a lovely place and such friendly staff. It's not exactly a bargain but worth every £! We stayed there as wedding guests last September and couldn't have wished for more. We had a lovely room with double aspect windows so lovely views. We only ate there one night but snack lunches by the pool were fresh and tasty !...

Had a lovely stay here in August. Great welcome and good restaurant reviews by reception. A little distance from town but we had a car so we could explore the area well. The hotels photos don't do it justice, we had a great view right over the fields onto the town

I stayed here 2 nights visiting San Gimignano, Sienna and the Chianti region of Tuscany. It is the best hotel I ever stayed in. But it is more like a palace and the help treats you like royalty. My stay here was like stepping into a fairy tale. I can't stop thinking about this place. It is a converted monastery....

I stayed here 2 evenings as part of a cycling trip with Trek Travel. The hotel sits on a smartly manicured landscape with beautiful hedges and trees. My room was at ground level. It was quite spacious and had doors out to a small patio and access to the very large swimming pool. Of note, my bathroom was massive! The...

First: The name is miss leading. It's more of a villa than a hotel. The grounds surrounding the villa are very impressive. The room was large, clean, quiet and the staff super. It was the most comfortable room I had on my twelve day trip. The breakfast was good and the restaurant was excellent. The only flaw would be they...

We did not stay at the hotel, but toured the property and will definitely stay here next time in Tuscany. The restaurant is Fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The service is 1st class and the food is perfectly done local dishes. The breakfast buffet is unbelievable and way under priced. the views of San Gimignano from the outside dining...

La Collegiata is an exquisite, elegant, upscale hotel that is located in an old monastery. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms modern and large. The grounds have beautiful gardens and pool, and a lovely patio for the full, delicious breakfast that they provide in the morning complete with espresso or cappuccino. You have a wonderful view of...

My wife and I recently visited San Gimignano while on our honeymoon. This was my first time to Tuscany but my wife had been there before with family. As a hotel snob, I was pleasantly pleased by Hotel La Collegiata. The property is virtually a large manor house overlooking vineyards with a breath-taking view of San Gimignano up on the...

My wife and I went to Italy in August for our anniversary not realizing it was the peak travel time in Europe. Rome and Positano were magnificent, but the crowds could be stifling. Even in nearby San Gimignano, the line for gelatto was obscene, but we always knew we could escape it all, have a quiet spritz by the gorgeous...

To focus on the positives, this is a beautiful hotel, lovely pool with a stunning view. Room was very clean throughout the day and evening and in general, very relaxing as it is very quiet. On the improvements, having come from a 5 star hotel where we held our wedding, I don't believe this is a 4 star establishment. Breakfast...
