This was our second stay at La Casa di Giovanna, the last time we stayed was 5 years ago, we reminded the owner of our disaster with the car parking disc (a long story) and she remembered us. This house is in a stunning location, right on the main street, can be a little noisy if you have a room...

Stayed here for one night in the winter. There weren't a lot of open places, and we were lucky that we walked up to this place just when the proprietor was walking up. There was a definite language barrier, but we were able to communicate well enough, and were provided with a nice sized room. The room felt like you...

We have stayed 2 nights in this hotel which is in the main street of San Gimignano. Rooms are clean and you can live the old histrocial town from your window. If you really want to live in the centre of San Gimignano it's ok for 2-3 night stays. But you can also find hotels with swimming pools and nature...

Beautiful clean rooms in a great location. It is in the main street not far from the entrance to the old town- but it is very quiet. Giovanna is lovely- I had a very nice stay for just one night- unfortunately!

A lovely place to stay with a homely atmosphere. The owner is charming, breakfast is filling, the only down side is not in the accommodation but the town. It is beautiful town but the cost of restaurants is over the top.

We really wanted to like the Casa di Giovanna. The location was good - just inside of the main entrance to the city center, on the lovely main streets with lots of shops, cafes, gelaterias, restaurants etc. nearby - and our hosts were nice. The room was large, a good size for a family, and right on a small terrace,...

Yes, it is hard to find the "door", but it is worth the hunt. Great location in this town. Our room looked out onto the "main" street in the old town. And yes, it was very noisy in the morning with the deliveries to the shops all around us, but since we needed to get up to shower/eat and get...

A good-sized room for a family of 4. It's close to everything, with its front door opening onto the main thoroughfare. There is free parking, but a long walk away. The owner is friendly, and she keeps a close eye on the place, with is reassuring. It's quite secure as there are 3 different locked doors you have to go...

The B&B is located right in the middle of the main tourist trail in this medieval town, near all the shops and attractions, and yet our room was completely quiet. Parking is available in the Jubilee parking lot - the tickets are validated by the host. Beware the parking is some ways from the B&B and you cannot drive to...
