This was the best room we had in Italy - the decor and furniture were lovely. Our host Egisto was friendly and prompt. His wife didn't speak English well, but said it all with her big smile. The breakfast was great, especially the cappuccino with smiley faces!

Such a lovely couple who run this B&B. No elevator but Egisto kindly took our luggage up the 1 flight of stairs. Small but comfortable and clean room. Terrific breakfast. Noisy street but fine if you keep the window/shutters closed. Excellent location...so close to all the sights of Siena. No problem getting a taxi from the bus loop. I would...

What an adorable little B&B! Our room was lovely and charming with a comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom - everything was squeaky clean. Breakfast was delicious and quite a spread: croissants, sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, other baked goods, juice, and more. Egisto served us himself, making us coffee and paninis - he was incredibly kind and accommodating. It is also just...

We really like this place. Great location for getting around. The place is spotless. Breakfast was good and the owners were fantastic. Do anything for you. Recommend highly. Only thing was the Wifi wasn't up to par but wasn't a big deal for us.

Located within the old city walls, this immaculate, quaint lodging is quite wonderful. It is owned and operated by Egisto, who can't do enough to help his guests. He even parked our car for us-- not an easy task in Siena's medieval streets! The room was comfortable and the breakfasts excellent.

We arrived at B&B alle Due Porte in the timeframe advertised for checkin but found it necessary to call Egisto. He arrived rapidly and we checked in without further issues. The room was a good size as was the bathroom. The shower was a bit strange being up a couple of steps, so not recommended for the mobility impaired. Breakfast...

Thanks Loredana and Egisto for your hospitality. We had a nice time at your place. We enjoyed having Loredana's breakfast, yummy!. Our room was beautifully furnished and looked out over the street but was quiet. Clean, spacious and most of the rooms are air conditioned. 15-20 minutes walking distance from Piazza Gramsci bus station. Close to restaurants, shops, Il Campo,...

We stayed at B & Bs throughout our trip, and Sienna's Alle Due Porte was our favorite. The host and hostess spoke limited English, but were super friendly, and very helpful. Breakfast was huge! The bed was comfortable, and this was the largest bathroom we had on the trip. Location is just a few blocks from the cathedral and right...

Egisto and his wife run their B&B. Egisto’s wife speaks no English but Egisto has enough to get him by. We arrived at the arch to enter Siena. We were nervous about going through the arch as there was a sign indicating there was a ZTL inside. My female friend and I left our husbands with the car and we...

In a 1,000 year old restored guard tower this is a beautiful B&B. From the heated bathroom floors, to the beamed ceilings, to tastefully chosen antique type furniture this is an elegant place to rest your head. The sleep is comfortable and even though our room looked out over the street, with the windows closed very quiet. Breakfast will tie...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The B & B are found in the part more ancient than Siena to little steps from the Duomo and from the Santa Maria della Scala, nearest the Piazza del Campo and therefore in center. The testimonies of documents indicate that this building existed already as house tower in the twelfth century and on the facade the signs of the several modifications are obvious that have transformed it. With the restructure jobs it has been attempted to integrate the fascination of ancient with the comforts of a our time being left intentionally intimate atmosphere.
