I only had time this trip for one night in Siena so location was important. This hotel is located in a grand building just minutes by foot from Il Campo and the Piazza del Duomo. The staff were warm and friendly and would go out of their way to help you. Nice terrace to enjoy an afternoon caffe lungho before... More

the location was amazing, not even a 5 min walk (not even a two min walk) from the old town away. the main bus station was 4 mins away. the staff was friendly and very helpful. the breakfast was pretty good! i definitely will come back here! the only thing was that there was no 'no-disturb'-sign available to put on... We booked two nights in this lovely quaint hotel which offered plenty of charm, excellent location and a very generous breakfast. Rooms were spacious and luxurious by Italian standards. The hotel staff is friendly and courteous. It's a 10-15 min walk from all the action of piazza del campo. The hotel offers excellent value if you are able to overlook... More

Stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights. The location is unbeatable and a standard room comes with an expansive spread for breakfast. The staff are lovely and really helpful. Short stroll away from Piazza del Campo and all the other main sights. Great value for money and comfortable. Highly recommended.

My sister brother in law and spent three days at this charming hotel which is perfectly placed to enjoy the wonders of Siena. The rooms are clean and comfortable but importantly the staff are welcoming and helpful. The breakfast is super and plentiful for the continental style. My only small criticism is that there is very limited availability to enjoy... More

Enjoyed this hotel for many reasons, including location and price. Our room was spacious and comfortable, excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was served in a lovely restaurant and on the main level there was a nice outdoor terrace overlooking the soccer stadium. A short walk had us at the Campo and getting out of town by car was actually pretty easy.... More

This was a lovely hotel very close by the Basilica of St Dominic. The hotel is close to all the major attractions of Siena and is about 5 mins or so from the Campo. The hotel is very nicely presented and the rooms are very good and spacious. There are also some good restaurants nearby. The breakfast was good and... More

The location of the hotel is great. It is relatively inexpensive, easily accessed from the bus station, and is close to all the attractions of old Siena. The breakfasts were also quite good but not fancy fare. In addition, the housekeeping staff did a good job. The only real problem was that the A/c would not go low enough to... More

Centrally located, where we were able to walk to all the sights, the dome, the Plaza di Campo, and 5 mins walk to the weekly market. The internal walls were painted to depict different sceneries. There was no lift to our room, so carting suitcases up and down the stairs was a bit cumbersome; but not an issue. The breakfast... More

Hotel Chiusarelli was a wonderful place to stay when we recently visited Siena for 5 nights for Il Palio. It is very close with no significant steps from the bus stop at Piazza Gramsci or from the bus stop at San Domenico (if you arrive by train.) Fortunately, we were on the ground floor so did or have to haul... More
