Reserved 3 nights here in early August for my family (wife, daughters 15 and 22, and me) in room #5. This room has a large (queen size?) bed and a fold out sofa; it also has a terrific terrace which provides a great city view (which was magnificent at night). The room was large enough to accommodate the 4 of...

Wow!! This place probably has the best view I've ever seen. The location is perfect and the rooms are very comfortable with air-conditioning. If you arrive by car you can drive right up to the entrance and they will at an extra cost arrange to have your car parked if you prefer that option. The guy who checked us in...

A lovely small hotel with delightful service, we booked primarily for the promise of a private terrace with a view and were not disappointed. Conveniently located between San Domenica and il Campo, our terrace was large and the view astounding. Breakfast was lovely, and if you don't want to pay the premium for a private terrace, book a less expensive...

The location of this hotel overlooking the Duomo is wonderful. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and nice size. I would pay for the suites to have a bit more space and good view. The location is very convenient to the center of town and it is inside the walls.

We stayed here for 3 days, and found it to be the perfect base to explore historical Siena. It is situated in the heart of the old town with stunning views of the cathedral dome. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and we would certainly stay here again. Perhaps for the price paid, the property could invest in international...

Stayed for 1 night in Room 5. The room has an unbeatable view across to the Duomo and a good sized terrace to take full advantage. The room isn't luxurious but pretty large by European standards. Not cheap but you expect to pay high prices in peak season. I took the option to have my car parked in a garage...

This small boutique hotel was perfectly situated near the heart of Siena. Very small inn was big on style, comfort and charm. Super clean. There was a patio breakfast area that was so perfect it was difficult to break away and go see the city. Good thing it doubled as a spot (with an honor bar) in the afternoon for...

This was a great little hotel for our first visit to Siena. The breakfast terrace has the most amazing view over the valley to the Duomo and the mediaeval buildings surrounding it. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Maria and Elisa were very helpful, with restaurant recommendations and general advice about things to do. This definitely helped to make...

The room in this well located hotel was well appointed and we were pleased that the owners allowed us to pay a slightly higher premium to get a top floor room with a terrace that overlooked the back (and a view of the Duomo) instead of a room that faced the street. The two women who run the hotel try...

Very well situated B and B for visiting Siena. The staff were friendly and very willing to advise on sites and restaurants. Our bedroom was a little small but well appointed. Good breakfast served on the patio with great views towards the Duomo.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Campo Regio Relais is a historic hotel in a building called Bastone del Pappagallo (16th Century), located in one of the ancient buildings within the historical centre of Siena. It can be found on Via della Sapienza, one of the main streets of medieval Siena, hosting both the University of Siena and the Academy of the Intronati. Its distinction is that it opens up to one of the most breathtaking views of the city in which the windows and the terraces reflect the ambient surroundings. The central position of the Relais allows guests to easily reach the most important monuments of the city; the main square, Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, and the museums that house the masterpieces of Siennese art. Campo Regio Relais is also perfect as a base from which you can discover the medieval towns and villages that surround Siena. ... more   less
