Having a pleasant place to return to after a long day is such a welcoming experience, and the Campo Regio Relais did not disappoint. The staff was wonderful. More than willing to help with advise but also knew when to just give a "good morning". Our room #6 was large, had a funky bathroom and was meticulously kept, with fresh...

I could drink coffee on the patio all morning!!! We read reviews of the amazing view so as soon as we dropped our bags in our room we went straight to see. Absolutely stunning!!! And breakfast the next morning out here, just perfect! The location is great for walking around! Although finding it from the bus station took a little...

Only a few rooms... ours was the "best room" with terrace and view. The weather was slightly inclement so we did not get to use the terrace except to briefly look out over the town. At night the view up to the Duomo is very special. The bells in the morning are so evocative of Italy. The location was good...

It is decorated with traditional and artistic decorations. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They recommended a lot of useful information such as restaurants and shopping area. Tucked away in the city center, this B&B made our stay in Sienna special. The view of the city from Room 5's terrace is incredible. A short walk to the Campo, we sampled the abundant treats of Sienna. An amazing staff that made our visit, especially the charming man who prepared our Sienna style breakfast.,

Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a Duplex Room with an incredible view of Siena. The room was immaculate and very well furnished, with a full kitchen. Everyone on the staff was a pleasure to talk to, and were really helpful in suggesting restaurants, and of course giving directions for our driving to the wine regions of Tuscany. My...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Campo Regio Relais is a historic hotel in a building called Bastone del Pappagallo (16th Century), located in one of the ancient buildings within the historical centre of Siena. It can be found on Via della Sapienza, one of the main streets of medieval Siena, hosting both the University of Siena and the Academy of the Intronati. Its distinction is that it opens up to one of the most breathtaking views of the city in which the windows and the terraces reflect the ambient surroundings. The central position of the Relais allows guests to easily reach the most important monuments of the city; the main square, Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, and the museums that house the masterpieces of Siennese art. Campo Regio Relais is also perfect as a base from which you can discover the medieval towns and villages that surround Siena. ... more   less
