Wow! We loved our two night stay in the spectacular tower room, the city of Siena is easily accessible. Would also recommend dinner at the nearby farm, Le Pierre Vive. Valeria, Heather and Nicola were so helpful and welcoming
We were so lucky to add this side trip to our itinerary. The location is great, so close to the ancient city of Siena. What an experience. Wish we had stayed a few days. The Tower Room should be a must for anybody traveling through...More
Great host and staff. Super easy to book online and confirm arrangements. Clean and relaxing rooms after all long day touring the Tuscan countryside.. Hard to believe a Bed & Breakfast (B and B) in an Italian Castello.. well worth the trip

Our host was wonderful and our children (19, 18, 13) loved it! This is truly a place to relax and enjoy the Tuscany views out of each and every tower, window or yard. We also took the cooking class nearby and it was AMAZING!

Well, it is possible if you are fairly fit as the castle is located about 2km from Siena's city walls ..the castle was built in the 13th century as a defence outpost within signaling distance of the town! The first kilometre or so is along a narrow but fairly busy country road which then over a modern overpass comes into the outskirts of Siena where there are shops, bars, a restaurant and also a bus stop where it is possible to get a little minibus right up into the heart of the old city ( saves walking up a rather steep hill!).
