Grabbing the opportunity to stay in a real castle, we booked the Tower room-- which was truly an experience. The two sets of spiral staircases nearly did us in, so it is a good room for younger folk, I think-- 40 or younger. I loved the views from the tippy top, and we both loved the breakfast with the fresh...

Castello delle Quattro torra was exactly what we wanted. Wonderful medieval atmosphere but at the same time friendly, family like. It fitted perfectly to the surrounding area. The room was massive and the view astonishing. All we could hear was birds and the calming sound of nature. We couldn't stop walking around in the marvelous garden, feeling so lucky to...

The Castello delle Quattro Torre is just a gorgeous place. The castle and the garden werde splendid. The view out of the window revealed the marvellous silhouette of Siena. Nicola, the owner, gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel like home. He was always helpful, reliable and kind. He gave us many valuable hints where to go...

Castello delle Quattro Torra has been one of the most memorable experiences of my global travels, and I have seen a good portion of the world. The views from the castle are breathtaking and the location, 10 minutes from the old city walls of Siena by car, was exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for, a very quiet,...

We had some trouble finding the place as the TI did not know the location, there is no way you will find this without a GPS system so make sure you get very good directions before leaving. The castle is an unbelievable building and is very neat. It wasn't exactly what we expected. The owners were very nice but speak...

Peaceful, Beautiful, Captivating, Simple. After the craziness of big cities, wonderful down-time. The views from every window are wonderful. The Castle is an extremely well kept castle. Nothing fancy here, but nothing lacking either and that is the way it should be if you want a true Castle experience. Nicola welcomes you (and your family) and makes you feel right...

Our stay in the castello was fantastic. The time we arrived castello was already late, about 9:00PM something. However, we still receive very warm welcoming. Here are some notices for car drivers: after sunset, it's hard to find the castello with mere eye vision. The castello is reached via a private pathway (actually there's an entrance with 'STRADA PRIVATA' plate...

We stayed at the castle for four nights and loved every minute! It's a bit hard to find as the website directions don't seem terribly specific and there is no sign at the gate, but Nicola (the gracious owner) met us in Siena and led us to the castle. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We stayed...

We’ve just returned from a 2 week trip to Italy. During my research on TripAdvisor, I needed to find a place to stay for one night near Siena. When I came across the picture of Castello della Quattro Tora, I couldn’t believe my eyes! A night’s stay in a 14th century castle would be so magical! I emailed directly to...

What a place! A real XIII century castle with fantastic views of Tuscany. Nicola, the owner, is a gentleman and helped us with everything we needed. We even had a wonderful dinner with wine, cheese and prosciutto we bought in Siena. Very quiet.
