We stayed 2 nights end of October 2016 in room R. The nights got already quite fresh and the people on the streets wore their winter jackets. When we entered the room we immediately felt the fresh breeze. When we asked whether we could start the heating system for the night as we were already down with a light cold,... More

Very comfortable hotel that's very close to the centre of Sienna. Nice Tuscan views behind the hotel and free parking and wifi! Stephania was on duty when we arrived - along with miaow miaow the Siamese cat! Stephania was so helpful with our many various demands and she ensured our stay was wonderful!

Rooms are large. Views can be wonderful looking over the Tuscany hill sides. The staff is friendly and the breakfast area is comfortable. The grounds overlook the beautiful country, olive trees and beautiful structures. The room we stayed in was all white and not cozy. We arrived during a cold spell and heat was not on so the room was... More

We had a top floor room which was cool and quiet. The location is brilliant for walking into Siena and has amazing views over Tuscany. On site car park is helpful for touring. Breakfast was fine. The staff were very helpful and the wifi worked.

The location is great (only 10 minute walk to centre of Siena) and the views in the hotel grounds are out of this world. The grounds are lovely to have an afternoon stroll. Free parking is handy if doing a road trip like we were. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. I would recommend getting a room on top floors as... More

Located close to the Roman gate in Siena this hotel is clean and tidy, but admittedly a little dated. We found it great for one night but not for an extended stay. Situated as it is on the main road there is some road noise if the window is open, but with the windows closed the soundproofing is pretty good.... More

Dear John, thanks for the review, but there is a little thing we would like to rectify, as none of our rooms are located on the main road, as all of them are internally and most of them face the Senese hills. Many thanks and we hope to see you again. More

We spent 3 days here in August, when the weather was hot and Siena busy. The views were spectacular from the hotel entrance and from our bedroom. However, the hotel was very basic. We had no fridge in our room (a previous poster did I know). The A/C was barely adequate, the TV did not have an English speaking news... More

Dear Robert, thanks for your review, but there is some info which doesnt add up. When our staff clean and/or set-up the rooms in the morning, the shutters are opened in order to get some fresh air into all rooms and to provide a better cleaning service, which is always done when our guests are not in their room, as... This was an older style hotel managed by Vincent who was a great help to us with tourist directions to the city centre, buses and with visiting other nearby towns. Vincent also helped get our luggage to the top floor as there was no lift. The breakfast in the new alfresco area was lovely in the early mornings with a... More

We stayed only 1 night. There is ample parking, lovely view of the countryside and a nice terrace for breakfast. Although I slept well, I didn't like the room. Especially the shower which was on the other side of the bedroom to the sink and toilet. It is rediculously small. The shower screen was broken (due to there being no... More
