This hotel is in a perfect location, just outside the old city, just a quick walk away from everything. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean with nice, crisp linens and with a minimalistic, but historical feel to the room. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Parking was convenient and the A/C strong. I slept like a baby! (we had a quadruple, which not hotels have!)

Even with 31C in September they turn of the A/C because "of the season". They also gave me an economy room when I paid extra for a standard, but since the only difference between the rooms is the disabled A/C it made no difference (don't pay extra for standard rooms outside of summer). The hotel is well located at the foot of the old city. Breakfast is poor, they even water down the juice. Parking is not available, but off season you can find nearby places to park for free. The rooms have no standard euro power-plugs, only the old Italian plugs, so you need an old adapter.

kind sir you have booked a single standard and we have placed you in a standard double so you have not paid any supplement, in fact we have given you a free upgrade gubbio is a hill town with pleasant temperatures in September so after September 15 the system changes from air conditioning to heating. The difference between the economy and the standard is not only air conditioning but other services are different. Writing about paying a supplement when it actually didn't happen makes us perplexed. Moreover, if our breakfast juices were not to your liking, you could ask for a juice. In addition there are plenty of parking lots: free and free parking to the right of the hotel, free and free parking to the left of the hotel, a paid parking agreement with the hotel and a hotel garage! If you have not found parking it is likely that the problem is yours alone! I do not add anything on power outlets, in Europe we know that there are different outlets from state to state and taking a trip to Europe means bringing an adapter. This everyone knows by now and it amazes me that you didn't know. It would be easier if customers like you spoke instead of writing! I wish you a peaceful autumn

Hotel is just lovely. The lobby is beautiful and the breakfast is to die for each day. The staff was helpful and walking distance to everything. We stayed for two nights. Restaurants are very accessible and the town is so welcoming

After a day's travel, we were very pleased to have booked at this hotel. The room was large with tastefully decorated furniture. The breakfast was very satisfying and ample. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodated our early departure by opening up the dining area 1/2 hour early. When our early departure made it difficult to catch the bus to the train station in the nearby town, the hotel's receptionist negotiated a taxi fare plus our already purchased bus tickets for 30 euros instead of the 25 euros per person.

There was nothing dreadfully wrong with this hotel, but compared to the wonderful hospitality and facilities we received at our other hotels on our holiday in Italy this one was rather lacking. We asked at reception whether we could leave the car outside, we pointed to where it was and were told it would be fine. When we got back to the hotel we were told we must move it, and we were lucky we didn't get a parking ticket. I paid for upgraded rooms, which I thought meant there would be a lift, but this wasn't correct, and we had to make our way up the two flights of stairs, with several suitcases and bags, no one offered to help. The air-con which the upgraded rooms was supposed to have didn't work at night. The free toiletries turned out to be a sachet of shampoo and one bar of soap. The doors needed stoppers, as they were so noisy as they banged against the wall, and the lighting was so poor I gave up trying to read. Breakfast was adequate, and the dining room was beautiful. We also sat out in the garden which was nice.
