This hotel is well located. It is an historic building tastefully restored. The rooms are beautiful and quite. The staff are okay but not exceptional. Breakfast buffet is adequate however limited in the off season Parking is near the hotel

Walking from the coach terminal it is no more than 8 mins. Spacious entrance and happy a friendly staff to greet you. My room was large, clean and, from my balcony, overlooked the gardens and river. Now the breakfast is, so far, the best spread I have ever seen. You want it they have it.

This hotel has rooms in 3 categories, including economy, which my group tour booked for its participants. Big mistake. Extremely dim lights (used my flashlights to find things in my suitcase) and a soft mattress on an old flat spring that sagged. First room smelled of smoke, so I changed. The single economy rooms have no windows, just a door...

Our arrival after walking 80 miles was less than friendly, the two young women on the desk didn't seem to care at all. Having said that the room was clean and adequate. The location is ideal for visiting the old town centre which is just across the road, as is the bus station for Perugia etc. We did not have...

Hotel San Marco is set in medieval Gubbio, just a short walk from Piazza Quaranta Martiri. Offering free WiFi, the property is set in a 14th-Century building with large courtyard gardens. Once a hospital, Hotel San Marco has always taken good care of its guests. Enjoy relaxing in characteristic rooms which still have wooden ceilings and antique furniture as well...

The hotel claims to be more elegant and refined than it is. It's nice, but the rooms could use a bit of renovation. However, located at the edge of the old town and with various convenient parking options (including a free one if you can find a space), it's a good deal at 50€ per night.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Just ask if they have a school booking when you book as the kids were bit noisy and excited ...I think they were on a sports trip and the hotel was mostly full because of this. Where we stayed no lifts as we were paying budget price.

San Marco is housed in a former Medieval Hospital, with magnificent vaulted ceilings, precious marble floors, valuable furniture and décor. There is a cosy back garden with spectacular views over the historic town centre and distant ancient buildings. The rooms are small but lovingly furnished with locally crafted pieces. The reception is very professional and informative. All taken into account,...

Hotel is really near the medieval center. It is hard to park in front the entrance – no space and crowd. Reception is downstairs and elevator and rooms behind the corner and up. Some rooms are small. It is not possible to open suitcase and walk from one side of the bed to the other side. Breakfast is very good...

The Hotel San Marco is a lovely old-world style hotel conveniently located two blocks outside the historic center of Gubbio. The hotel does not have a dedicated parking area but there is a pay lot across the street and there is also street parking. The front desk staff was very friendly and even though they spoke limited English, we spoke...
