This hostel was a wonderful addition to our experience of Italy. The service was good, location and property could not be better. As English speakers, we appreciated the presence of staff who spoke English and that we were put in a room with other English speakers our age (student). Also great with no curfew

I've never actually stayed in a hostel, so this being my first experience I can safely say I was impressed! I shared a room with two bunk beds, which sleeps four. The room was a decent size with a desk and chair and cupboard space to hang clothes and four sections for each resident to keep their belongings. The shared... More

Cannot sing the praises of this Hostel enough. Perfect location- right off the Duomo square. Amazing, breathtaking panoramic views from my room and from the balcony in the Library downstairs. Quiet building, quiet surroundings (no bar or traffic noise!). The room I was given was huge, and had a table and chairs in the middle- quite a luxury compared to... More

We stayed in this hostel as a group of 30 people. Our room was for six people. It was large and very comfortable. And so was the bathroom, which is the biggest I have ever seen in a hostel. Staying here felt almost like staying in a hotel. The lobby, where we also ate our breakfast in the morning, is... More

Alora, the place is very nice and cozy, in the very city centre, having breathtaking views from the windows and balcony's . Very helpful stuff, having some little problems with the English language, but still isn't it a cute characteristcs of Italy?.

The hostel is situated nearly 5 minutes of walking from the Fontana maggiore. Rooms can be very cold at night. There is also no breakfast included, but it should be.

I came here straight from what Hostelworld rated as one of the top 10 in the world to this very poorly rated hostel. It deserves much higher rating! I walk up the grand marble staircase to the reception. I arrive to a warm welcome. It was late at night and I was hungry. I was shown the communal pasta stash... More

You only pay 15 euros a night, which in my mind is a bargain, especially considering I was there during the Umbria Jazz festival. The rooms are spacious and clean. The location is fantastic, the building oozes character, with a stunning view to boot. There is no breakfast but a well-equiped kitchen where you can cook your own meal. No... More

15euros a night for a shared room (4) at the busiest time a year (umbria jazz festival). So you dont expect much of it. But Ostello offers a very well organized and nice (basic though) hostel with clean beds and bathroom utilities. You cant be in the hostel between 11 and 4 because that is cleaning time (they sure take... More

This hostel is probably the best budget choice in Perugia. Its best assets are location (in the middle of the medieval center near the main square), cleanliness (probably the cleanest hostel I've ever seen), staff (really friendly and funny people) and of course the price, which at 15 euros a night can't be beaten. Not to mention the amazing views... More
