I chose this hotel based on tripadvisor reviews and a recommendation from a friend. I stayed in the Executive room, which is like a penthouse, and found it quite comfortable, with an excellent bath. Although roomy and stylish, I still felt it was somewhat overpriced. Service is excellent, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. -...

Yes, the bed is comfortable and the location is convenient, but the bathroom is the standout here. Large, well-lit, well-ventilated, plexiglass shower enclosure, plenty of room for towels and toiletries--if it weren't for the step up into the room (Italians do seem to like that) it'd be perfect! Breakfast was up to par, free internet at night, lovely view from...

Having spent a week in one of the apartments owned by the Hotel Fortuna, we emailed the hotel with some feedback. Unfortunately a week as gone by without even an acknowledgement. Therefore I think it is appropriate to paste the feedback in full to this website: Dear Hotel Fortuna, We stayed with you in apartment 1 from 4th August to...

Once you find the hotel, you will appreciate its location. Unfortunately, despite the fact that I paid extra for what was supposed to be a better-than-standard room, I was shown to a broom closet with a bathroom and ventilation that didn't work. The tiny bed was uncomfortable, the sheets dingy, the view was of a wall, and the room was...

This hotel is situated right in the historical city centre so it is very convenient. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was also very adequate. Our room was comfy, clean and quiet so we slept well throughout the night. Good value for money. If you have a car, beware that you have to park outside...

It's one of those places "you can't get to from here." But, once there it's a great location near the center of town with nice rooms and a rooftop terrace looking over the coutryside that's perfect for gelato, wine, or just looking. It was very hot, but the AC worked well. Brreakfast was weak. The inaccessibility & lack of parkind...

Hotel Fortuna was our favorite hotel we stayed in during our two week trip to Italy. We had a room which had a terrace and overlooked the rooftops as well as the beautiful Umbrian landscape. We enjoyed a bottle of wine on the terrace one night while overlooking the hills and watching the sun go down. Outstanding! In addition, the...

The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Perugia and the common spaces are great, including the breakfast room, a sitting room on the 4th floor and terraces. The rooms are less interesting and a bit small, but modern and functional. Breakfast was ok. There is no parking nearby so it's a bit of a hike from public parking lots.

This is an old hotel but it has been renovated since I last stayed there (2003) and generally well maintained. (1) Location for a tourist is superb. Only a few feet from Via Vanucci, Good restaurants and shops abound in the area. (2) Staff is friendly and reasonably efficient. Most of them speak far better English than I do Italian....

This is a great hotel. It is located on a quiet street just off the Corso Vanucci--a main piazza for shopping and restaurants. So everything is nearby. The underground City is around the corner and the College is at the end of the piazza which always is filled with cheerful people. Staff at the hotel are friendly and warm. I...
