Good value for money in the centre of the old town but rooms need an update. The receptionist who greeted us on arrival on Friday was very friendly and helpful and a delight to meet, however his replacement on Sat and Sun was grumpy to the point of rudeness and let down the friendly feel of the place. Bed was very comfortable, room clean and view interesting. Breakfast was ok for the price, but basic and lacking if late to the table.

Lovely and not too expensive (for the city center) hotel. Old house with nice rooms, just what you expect from a historical city like Perugia. Right in the city center so it's near everything. Nice and helpful staff. If you are not an early bird, make sure to put the "Do not disturb" sign at the door because the staff will knock it early to clean.

This is a surprisingly good hotel. Don’t get me wrong, the rooms are simple and the whole building is pretty dated. But it’s all at a decent price and it’s clean. The beds are comfortable and everything works. Our room had a balcony which lead in to a small courtyard - a very small, dilapidated courtyard - but still; there’s a certain Etruscan charm to it and it’s lovely to sleep with the door open on a summer evening . The location is great too. Whilst not directly in the historic centre, it’s a 5 minute walk away - albeit up a large hill. There’s plenty of nice bars and restaurants very close by. Staff are all very friendly and happy to help. I think there are better hotels in Perugia, but this one is definitely a decent option for the traveller on a budget.

Central position, big spacious rooms. Very clean and light, with a nice balcony. The free parking is a bit far, but still ok. We asked for adjoining rooms, since we were a big family. They confirmed it, but then, once there, we had two rooms that were at the opposite side of the floor. Good value for money

Our room was small, clean and basic, with 2 single beds pushed together, but they were clean and very comfortable. We had a little balcony, which looked into the residential building across the street - not the views as seen in the photos! The proprietors were friendly and helpful and very happy to make a cup of tea for us in the evenings. The main problem was an unpleasant stale smell in the bathroom - probably due to poor ventilation/plumbing. Great location - very close to the centre of the old town. Breakfast was adequate - but great coffee!

Room Tip: Request a room with views over the city! Would also be less street noise at night.
