Our two weeks at Tenuta Sospesa were just wonderful! With a group of 13 people we had the whole site to ourselves. Manoelle was just lovely and granted us all the support we wished for. The house and surroundings are neat and you've got your peace and quiet. Thanks again Manoelle, we'll be back!

Tenuta Sospesa is a very peaceful place where you can enjoy the nature and the beauty of Umbria. There is a lovely garden and pool. I was always there early in the morning to hear the birds and to have a breakfast. Manoelle who runs this dream is very helpful and gives you all the information about the place, the house is gorgeous. I could stay there forever. Thank you Manoelle for this amazing and peaceful holiday.

It is a beautiful and spacious, country house. Manoelle is an excellent host and very quick to respond to any questions and manages the property with great care and attention. Our group of family and friends has holidayed together often, we all agreed that this was by far the best place that we have shared together. Outside there are beautiful gardens, great pool, cinema room with games and many shady places to relax. Indoors the rooms are great with a good kitchen.

Set in very well maintained and thriving gardens (including bountiful fruit trees), this original set of farm buildings has been sympathetically restored and is very well looked after. It is situated on a quiet road halfway between the valley floor and the surrounding hills. This provides some great views. The layout provides many secluded spots throughout the buildings and the property so we were able to have privacy, to hill, for a call or for a private conversation despite being in a large group. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds and the owner (who also looks after the garden) has ensured that all amenities are present, functional and well thought through. The large swimming pool is a highlight with comfortable sunbeds as cyprus trees providing shade options. Another highlight is the games room for when it gets too hot in the sun or for long summer nights of fun. There are a number of typical hilltop villages and other places to visit. The roads are great for early morning running on flat or hills. The owner is on hand and was very helpful and quick to adjust or to supply whatever we needed without being obtrusive. We have a great time in early August and I definitely recommend this place!

We have recently returned from a two week stay at Tenuta Sospesa where we enjoyed a fantastic family reunion. I spent a long time searching for the right accommodation and I'm glad the research paid off. Our stay at Tenuta was without a doubt one of the best holiday experiences we've ever had. We are a family of five based in Sydney, Australia, but with all the rest of our family living in the UK. We booked Tenuta for 2 weeks in July for a reunion with nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters-in-law, plus a couple of backpacker friends/girlfriends and boyfriends thrown into the mix! It was a great success. Even the photos online can't quite do justice to the beauty of the property; the pool area is truly magnificent. A vine-covered trellis leads down a path to a stunning turquoise pool, bordered by towering cypress trees and a field full of sunflowers in full bloom . There are ample sunloungers and I recall a number of occasions when I looked around and every member of our party of 13 was engrossed in a novel poolside! It is such a stunning and relaxing place. The delightful and very helpful owner Manoelle has put so much love into the upkeep of the house and gardens. The house itself is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. There is a large dining table should you want to eat inside but we were lucky enough to eat outside every day apart from our last night due to wet weather. The al fresco eating area is picture-postcard perfect; easily accommodating all of us under the shade of a beautiful tree. A traditional pizza oven is close-by, which Manoelle told us used to serve as the main oven in the village many years ago! At night the property looks magical; lit up with tasteful outdoor lights, fairy lights and even fireflies at the time we stayed! Pots of cascading flowers sit outside the beautiful 17th century stone house and next to yet another area to relax, with a swing seat, chairs and table. Included in the nearly one acre of grounds is a fabulous games room inside an old barn, which was a great hit. This featured a bar area, speaker system, table football, table tennis and even a cinema screen! Tenuta Sospesa is an absolute Italian gem and was an unforgettable setting for a holiday.
