Hotel Iris is a bit run down and as much as basic comfort - save good quality towels - is ok, with cheap furniture and no frills, the plumbing needs maintenance to avoid constant leaking and stinking up the bathroom. The roads around are noisy but the rooms on the back are quiet with windows closed. Room 28 was small...

It is a perfect stay for anyone travelling to Perugia who rather prefers spending money on good food, museums, sightseeing etc, instead of being charged with unnecessary high accommodation costs. Although the hotel is quite old + rooms are rather simple, the location is phantastic. Rooms are very quiet, absolutely clean + spacious. The hotel has a very charming atmosphere....

Stayed here in February - beautiful traditional hotel. Very comfortable beds and friendly helpful staff. Very good value for money. If you exit the hotel around the back, you will find the escalators which take you right into the historic centre. The only suggestion I have wood be better signage to reception. The hotel appeared to be closed when we...

Friendly staff, beautiful building. Good location, near to the bus station and city center. You can hear noise from the street in the room that was facing the street, but it does not matter because you have very beautiful view over town.

This was a great hotel - it was centrally located and the price was well below many of the other hotels in the area. We could walk to everything in the historical center with ease. The location is perfect. The staff at the front desk was friendly and offered several good suggestions as to where to dine and what to...

The villa is very charming, the staff wonderful, the room very clean and perfectly furnished. It even ha a parking, for 10 euros a day. The buffet breakfast maybe has everything, it costs 6 euros per person, you can chose the convenience of it or go to any wonderful pastry shop in Perugia. One small critic: the room we were...

Excellent location, 2 minutes from Piazza Partigiani (Bus Terminal), 2 minutes from escalators, 10-15 minutes from old city center (if you want to walk the steps), 1 minute from Meta (supermarket). The staff was very kind and friendly, after the first night, the lady changed our room from frontside to backyard (much noiseless and warmer). The breakfast is not so...

A lovely hotel with beautiful bedrooms and lovely view from the verandah in front of hotel. The location was good too. It was the highlight of our trip to Italy and look forward to visiting it again one day.

I stayed at Hotel Iris on 8/23/16 to 8/25/16. I must say that I have stayed at many hotels with 5 star ratings such as the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki and many others. I found Hotel Iris to be charming, cute and overall really comfortable. I loved the bed and the room we had. The hotel staff was excellent,...

A stunning building in a very good location to access the old town via the escalator link. The staff were amazing and so very helpful, couldn't do enough for us. the outside area is a great place to have a drink after an evening out, and to eat breakfast.
