This is a fantastic hotel and great value for money. It is in a beautiful building in a very convenient location for the old town of Perugia and right near the main bus terminal. My friend and I stayed in two different rooms (both the same price), a twin on the second floor and a double on the first floor.... More

I stayed at iris hotel for 3 nights and me and mg friends felt great there. The old building is impressive, one of our rooms was pretty small but everything very clean. Staff friendly, great terrace in front and decent breakfast. I would say it s good value for the money and I would return there. I had a great... More

The room was a good size including the bathroom and with nice views, staff members were friendly and helpful and there was free Wifi in the room with really fast connection. Location is the winner though-about 2 minutes walking to escalators that take you up to the city centre and 2 minutes walking from bus station. If you have a... More

When we arrived at the hotel we thought it looked lovely from the outside. At check-in I had to say no! to ordering breakfast about 8 times as the guy really wanted us to spend extra for breakfast. The room itself was cold, dirty and smelly, uncomfortable bed and unfriendly staff ugly rooms and the smallest tv.

Dear Richard B, first of all, let me say thank you for being our guest and for your appreciation about the external view of the building. I can say Hotel Iris really looks lovely, and not only from the outside. I'd like to suggest to possible customers to have a look at the rooms before ordering a reservation. It can... More

Beautiful antique villa right in the city centre with private parking and nice and clean rooms with private bath for reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff. We arrived late in the evening but the hotel was easy to find and the staff was waiting for us. Also the next day the staff gave good advice on where and how to... More

Staff: friendly and helpful. Room: comfortable, with beautiful old ceiling; quiet, clean. Maybe we lucked out, but parking very convenient (costs 10 Euro per night, well worth it). Close to "old" Perugia and to the escalators that take you up there. My second stay at this hotel (third for my traveling companion). Would stay again.

Located across the street from the escalators that take you into the city, this 2 * hotel (because there is no air conditioning) makes you relive the atmosphere of 150 years ago (in 1880 in this building lived Richard Wagner). Gorgeous painted ceilings, wooden floors and hallways with large access doors in rooms impresses from the outset. A coffee, breakfast... More

Great pension. So close to the centre, parking, friendly helpful staff, clean and cool rooms and a beautiful 18th century building. All for only €50 euros for 2 people in a double room. Highly recommended

We may have been just lucky but our room was ground floor facing the terrace with beautiful vista. Two star I think but deserved another half at least. Would go back in a flash. Staff spoke excellent English and we're tireless tour guides.
