Unfortunately under maintenance when I booked my single night there (the Hotel could have given me a heads-up in advance). Helpful and very friendly staff at the front desk are a great first impression. Rooms have a very modern feeling, while the hotel seems to be a bit old. In fact, everything inside seems new, modern and efficient. Workers started... More

This is a modest hotel and my single room could not have been more single: tiny, with a bed maybe 2.5 feet wide against the wall. But everything was clean and modern and the hotel's location is unbeatable: walkable from the railway station pulling a suitcase, yards from the Swiss parliament, an easy walk to the old city and across... It was a bit of a rundown hotel.Nothing awful, but I wouldn't stay here again. Some of the pictures made the place look really modern and clean, and maybe some of the rooms are, but ours was sub-par. Not that great of an experience as I was hoping to have. Dirty walls, dirty carpet, weird layout.

This hotel is very conveniently located ... on a large plaza surrounded by all kinds of restaurants and where a shopping fair is set up on some mornings (OK, that part makes some noise). Short walk to the main street where the trams run. Only a couple blocks from the train station (once you figure out the correct way to... More

I stayed for one night. The room has the basic amenities and it was clean. Although this hotel is right at the city center, it was not too noisy at night (on the top floor). Breakfast was alright, the basic buffet was provided in good quality. I would recommend it for short stays only

Unknowingly we arrived in Bern on the same day as one of the days of The Tour de France. When we asked at reception about where we could go to view the race we were told it wasnt in the city and would have to go a long way out. So we contented ourselves wih a walk down the Main... More

I selected this place, as I needed an option near the train station with reasonable prices. This fit that bill. It is clean and has the basic amenities, though the beds are really not very comfortable and a single room is not for the claustrophobic. Breakfast was nice, though, as were the views from the small roof top terrace.

Very basic with a small bathroom and a safe in the wardrobe. Booked a double, got a twin with beds that couldn't be put together due to the shape of the room. Coffee and tea station on level 4, games on level 3, laundrette on 2 (CHF 12). A small gym is on top level and you can access the... More

Super average and nothing traditional except the outside. The inside is just old and not very comfy. Even though I'm Swiss, I feel they charge a lot just for the location. The desk girl was very nice but she made us book the room online because we found a cheaper price that the one advertise at the desk and she... More
