The Lido hotel is in an excellent location with a short walk from both the main station and lake Geneva. In fact you could walk to many attractions from it as well as good restaurants and bars. While not luxury it was all you need. Totally clean, comfortable , good breakfast, friendly staff, good value.

The Hotel is a 5 minutes walk from Cornavin Station - very handy and reasonably priced. The triple room is big and like other hotels in Geneva, clean. Breakfast is served in a small "cafetaria" which must to have been a converted bedroom. Not a bad place to stay for a short visit. My family (including 3 adult children) stayed...

Clean and well-localized hotel, close to the Gare Cornavin and all trains/buses/metro. The breakfast is quite good and the staff is friendly. Another guest complained about his bed, that were extremely thin and improvised. Our was very confortable though. The building is very old, but reasonably clean and organized. A decent spot in the heart of Geneva.

Basic decor - don't expect plush carpets and lots of pillows, free shampoo or sixteen towels in the bathroom. Expect older style decor, one pillow, hard wearing thin pile carpets, and one towel etc. This hotel does have a lot going for it however: - Reasonable price for Geveva - Free WiFi - Pleasant staff - Descent breakfast will set...

Small decent hotel situated 200m from train station and main tram lines. Few rooms. Small spartan rooms. Minimum of furniture. Average breakfast in a small room. Personnel nice and friendly. Reasonable price for Geneva. Ask for internal rooms.

This hotel has very tiny dining room which cannot fit all the guests. Do if you are late you can end up waiting in the corridor for other guests to free up the table. So either get up early or have your breakfast elsewhere. Apart of this issue and useless comment on outrageous Geneva prices we liked this place. It's...

I booked a room in this hotel 6 months in advance. Because my plans changed I canceled the room thru booking.com free of charge. Suddenly I get a charge for "No Show". I called and sent Emails to booking.com which in turn called the hotel with no success. My problem was that I did not keep the cancelation Email. I...

There are lots of mid-range rather small and pokey hotels near the station in Geneva. Very central, old town houses converted into small hotels with cramped lifts, a small communal space for breakfst, and simple facilities. In most other towns they would be considered over-priced but Geneva has lots of visitors and it is a sellers market. The Lido is...
