I travelled to Geneva from the Cote D'Azur with my wife and my 3 year old daughter as we wanted to break the long journey and also to experience Geneva in June. I went ahead and booked a room/one night for what I thought was a fair price (CHF 265) for a (self advertised) 4 star hotel in the heart...

I booked this hotel for my boyfriend and I and later found out it was in the Red Light District. Actually, a lot of the hotels in Geneva are in this area so you're not alone! Our room had a "city view". However, the view out the window was infact of "SEX CENTRE: LIVE GIRLS" with a bar stool either...

Seems like the Nashville (formerly the Tryp) is getting worse every year. I stay there every year in the same period (Geneva auto show) and i confirm what i wrote the first time. Altough the rooms are quite comfortable (the bath is too small), the real let down is the location: very central, a few minutes from the station, but...

I have just this morning returned from my trip to Geneva and Lausanne. I must say that I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews on this hotel. However, my stay there could not have been more pleasant. I was greeted and shown to my suite. It was spotlessly clean and the sheets on the bed crisp....

Booked this Hotel as our planned trip to Prague was cancelled at the eleventh hour!! Booked a Junior Suite with Balcony, online with Lastminute.com. Hotel easily found from main railway station in Geneva. Hotel ok if not a little dated, however rooms were clean and warm. Internet site did not mention the fact that the Hotel was situated in Red...

The hotel it's self is very reto very easy to get to from the rail station ideal for a short break. Our room was OK the mini bar was not stocked and there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room as stated. Even though it is situated in the red light district there is no real noise...

Avoid this hotel at all costs. It's located in a seedy, prostitute infestid area. It was noisy as hell ALL night with fights and yelling and car stereos/alarms. Then, to top it all off...upon checkout, there were all sorts of "hidden" charges! Overall, i would avoid this hotel. There are many others much much nicer for the same price.

We had a pleasant 4 day stay in November 2006 in a room on the top floor which was spacious and airy and also had a large balcony. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpfull. The hotel is situated handy for central railway staton and the lake and although it is within...

This is a very well appointed hotel for the price. The problem is that it is situated in the Red Light area and hence can be quite difficult to walk around in the evenings especially during weekends. The buffet breakfast spread is huge and comes at an extra price but I did find flies moving around.

As 60+ Americans, wife and I stayed for 2 nights late September 2006. As other reviewers have said - the rooms are smallish (but very clean) and with amenities - they were adequate. Room prices were inexpensive - for Geneva. Positive comments are: competent friendly staff; internet kiosk in lobby; 3-5 minute walk to train station/bus center; 7-8 minute walk...
