Excelsior was good for a three star. Staff were friends and helpful. Location was good. Bed and pillows were great. Had the best two night's sleep here. There's a wickedly good food hall just across the road as well. Highly recommended.

Hotel Excelsior is conveniently located only a few minutes from the main train station and a short walk from the lake. The staff were extremely accommodating on our arrival and swiftly took us through the check in process and handed us our free public transportation passes. The rooms are nice and clean with an ample supply of fresh towels and...

Pros: very convenient location, cleanliness, good Wi-Fi, not very expensive. Cons: small rooms, noise from other rooms/outside, pillows too soft. Overall, it is not a bad choice for staying in Geneva, due to the excellent location primarily and secondarily due to affordable pricing.

This is a decent hotel. For Geneva standards, the price vs quality is good. Staff is very friendly and helpful, location is very good. Walls are quite thin. Ironing board cannot be brought to the room but if you need to iron you can do so in the luggage storage room.

Decent place given how expensive everything is Geneva. We visited for a during the bank holiday. It makes for a great city break but nothing longer! We stayed for two nights and didn't have the breakfast option. The mini bar is crazy prices (bottled water for 6 francs!) Again, we stayed clear of this. Rooms basic but everything clean. Hotel...

I am not that fussy a person, but this was really not that great. The room I had was quite cheaply decorated and pretty dated (late 80's I'd guess) - old taps, light brown tiles on walls and floors, cracked sink and some cracked tiles, hot water tap not working well, and the walls are paper thin. The energy bulbs...

Very convenient hotel, not far from rail station and bus station, lake etc. Nice tiles on floor in room, and bathroom fully tiled. We had a balcony at the back of the hotel, which was nice. Staff very pleasant and helpful, room very clean. Handy for visits to the old town, the UN, etc.

This hotel is located within a short walk of the train station and right across from Manor, a department store with an outstanding supermarket on the ground level. The hotel rooms are simple and small. The breakfast was relatively basic (included in the cost) although consistent in terms of quality. The coffee was not great but espresso drinks are available...
