I did not stay at this hotel, but when I booked via booking.com the refundable rate, my credit card was charged $1400 even though the entire stay cost $800!!!!!! When I contacted the hotel, they denied having charged my CC and said we were just making sure the credit card was working. (Other hotels do that by charging $1!!!!!!). I...

We come to Geneva twice or three times every year because of my husband's business, and every time it is hard to choose a hotel because it is such an expensive city! We choose Le Cénacle through a booking website because it was a very busy week and our usual options were fully booked. What a pleasant surprise! There also...

I arrived late night and saw strage people around the hotel. Next morning, I went for breakfast and went out of the breakfast room spite of unsupportable smell. I complained with the management and had been told that this hotel belongs to an organization that gives place as well to homeless people for 10% of the price I paid. This...

We were taken aback by the beautiful peaceful surrounds. Whilst the style of this hotel is more like that of a hostel, it was very comfortable. Our room overlooked the garden and had electronic security blinds over the windows. We struggled a little with language with the staff but they were very helpful. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable and we...

Take tram 12, get off at Amandoler, take the short passage directly opposite the tram exit and to the left of the Rubik Cube building (don't follow the cul-de-sac sign but veer right), at end of passage turn left, a short distance on your right is Prom. C. Martin, climb the steps (awkward with bag) walk along the dark Prom....

I booked tw0 communicating rooms for my son , his wife and their 6 months old baby on April 10, 2015 specifying that they have a small, very quiet dog. (the hotel does not indicate it is not pet-friendly). They checked in at 6h30 PM. At 7PM the director stormed in their room demanding that the vacate the hotel immediately...

Part of the hotel is under renovation, so I have to walk through floor cover with plastic sheet and smell of paint every day. No TV in room, breakfast is very limited, Reception forget to give me the free Geneva travel card till I asked for it. Can reach hotel by tram or bus, but not easy to find. My...

I found my room facing the park excellent; the furnishings were spartan (no TV but good free wi-fi) and clean. Very quiet and only 2 minutes from busy route de Malagnou; very convenient bus stop. I received a bus pass which allowed me unlimited travel to Geneva for the duration of my stay. Thoroughly recommend this for families, children can...

This hotel was in a lovely setting, the garden was magnificent, and our Park Room was huge however the hotel was very basic. The room had some basic furnishings (bed, table, dresser, wardrobe) and a small fridge but no appliances such as a television or a kettle. The fridge had the bonus of someone else's left over pizza in foil....

It's a former convent and it shows in the worst possible way. Despite the beautiful location, gardens and building, the service is poor to say the least, not because of the quality of personnel (though it's not the best trained lot) but because there is hardly any. Rooms are spartan, no phone, tv, radio, nothing! It was even difficult to...
