The two rooms we stayed in were both small and the bathrooms even smaller - neither rooms had view of the lake. Also the two rooms they gave us were in two different floors which was a bit inconvenient but otherwise a very good experience - just of the chapel bridge and right in the historic centre of Lucerne. Breakfast...

Great location to restaurants, cafes, shops, train station, ferries, Lion park. Picturesque place opposite the river which runs through the town. Food and drinks very expensive everywhere. Try the supermarket for supplies. Lots of bees outside when dining. Mt Pilatus is 7200m high and worth travelling to look at. Staff not very helpful. Breakfast average and food not replenished regularly.

This hotel is in a fabulous location... Right in the heart of old town. Shopping and dining and sightseeing are all seconds away. I'd stay here again just for that. The rooms themselves are very small, but manageable. The staff was friendly and capable. There were some quirks though, which kept me from giving this a five. First, the pillows...

All amenities were in fantastic functioning order. Nothing about this hotel looked tired. Even the staff was always energetic to interact and respond. Fantastic location. Can't beat the proximity to the river and lake. THe ceiling fan really made the room comfortable despite with the heat wave (no a/c). But because the window is open we heard a lot of...

The hotel is right near the Chapel Bridge and other scenic spots. The location cannot be beat. The room was pretty and comfortable. (Bring your own hair conditioner) There was construction, so noise was somewhat of an issue, however not during sleeping hours. No cars allowed in the area of the hotel, which is nice and quiet, but you do...

A location right in the centre of the old town. Bedroom windows looked straight into the old streets. Quite noisey. Diners in the evening Bin men in the morning. Internet flakey There was no restaurant but the building contained both an italian and chinese restaurant which belonged to them. The Italian became the breakfast room in the morning.

The Hotel is in a superb location, the train and bus station are right across the bridge, only a few minutes away. There are also lots of shops, restaurants and a lot of historical places near by, since it's located in the old part of town. The staff is very friendly, and available most of the time. The rooms are...

We arrived by train and this hotel is a convenient walk from the station. It was a little tricky as the signage is down a small Street that to us Americans looks like an alley. Great warm greeting and very clean room with stocked refrigerator and amenities. Their complimentary breakfast was great, warm boiled eggs, variety of cheeses, yogurt, breads,...

Room is small but well equipped with coffee machines, safety box, hot water kettle, small fridge with minibar, hair dryer.... Triple room located on 1st floor where is quite noisy. However, when we closed the windows it is quite & ok to sleep.Narrow and compact standing shower space but with spacious bathroom & double sinks. Buffet breakfast with wide choices...
