Returning to my home away from home, Neuchatel. The hotel is located next to the lake but would take a while to get there (on foot) from the train station since the station is at the top and the hotel at the bottom of the hill. I would suggest travelers to take taxi to the hotel if you care carrying... More

Decent hotels for short stay in neuchatel. Big bathroom. Room are clean and basic. Lift a little dated though but function. Considered good rates and accessible for solo travellers as well. Helpful staff to get me a cab for red eye flight. Will stay again

Staying at Hotel des Arts during a Business trip is more than sufficient. It is a clean and basic hotel with a small but good breakfast offer. When travelling by car you can benefit from the parking license they offer for free (provided on a deposit). The double rooms are really nice. The small single rooms are from my point... More

We were looking for a suite for 6 persons and we found it in Hotel des Arts. It was a kind of Apartment with three sleeping room and a kitchen. Very convenient. Also location very central. From inside all was clean, beds comfortable. Do not expect too much of Art even if the name indicates it, it is actually a... More

Only negative of this hotel is that it is not soundproof. You can hear the neighbours go to the bathroom... Location is good (10 min walk to city center), breakfast is good (have to order one day in advance, not 'walk in breakfast'). Wifi is free and fast. Rooms are spacious). Staff is friendly and helpful. Free public transport card... More

This is clearly one of the worst places I've ever been to. The hotel stinks, as it is allowed to smoke in must rooms. The rooms are old and clearly need a thorough renovation. The staff is nice, but it's not enough... It's a 15-minute walk from the center of town, just next to the main hospital.

This hotel is situated in a lovely old building and a nice part of town, reasonably central - about a 10 minute walk to the historic town centre, but only a couple of minutes to the lake front. The rooms and communal areas have seen better days and a little refurbishment wouldn't go amiss. That said, the hotel and rooms... More

I stayed for almost a month. I got a nice large room for alone. It was a nice non smoking room. They provide you coupons for breakfast that you have to give to the staff each day. Not so many selections at breakfast, but still okay. Here you have the chance to make your own boiled eggs, and waffles. Some... More

The hotel is placed close to the railway station and on the bus routes. Reception staff were really helpful and tolerated my bad French! I had an upgraded room, but being close to the breakfast room it was noisy from around 6.30am. Breakfast buffet was simple continental style and just what I wanted/needed/expected
