Pros; Management and staff were nothing but professional! Room was spacious and clean. Hotel infrastructure is most definately 4star. Pool spa and saunas were well maintained and super clean. Breakfast buffet was pure perfection. The terrace seating is just devine for relaxing and taking in the surrounding sights. Cons; Coffee was terrible. Shower water temperature was unstable.

Family friendly place, with SkiShop, Spa, excellent Breakfast and friendly staff. The Hotel is perfectly located between the different Ski stations close by. So exploring the skiing or shopping in Gstaad is easily done.

What a dream of a place! It may have a 3 star rating officially but I would say it is easily 4 star in every way. My wife and I had the best stay we had anywhere in many years and that is saying something. Michel and Ilse Wichman are superb hosts and true professionals.

The Spitzhorn hotel is modern, very well appointed, and friendly run. The staff really makes you feel welcome and do everything to accomodate your wishes. We stayed there with two young children and they kept our table for us while we put them to bed to continue our dinner afterwards, perfect! The food is good, although the lunch options are...

This wonderful hotel deserves as many stars as possible. We've traveled in Switzerland quite a lot and the Spitzhorn instantly became our favorite hotel. First, it's absolutely beautiful! The health spa facilities, especially the pool, are lovely [though the exercise room is quite limited].We had great massages. The manager and staff are warm, very very helpful, and efficient. One of the...

My husband and I recently booked a 3 night stay here in mid-September during a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary at a rate of 309 CHF per night based on the attractiveness of its website photos and the statements thereon proclaiming it to be a 3 star hotel with “4 star infrastructure”. The website further promised that a guest...

Except from very little details, I thought this hotel was absolutely wonderful and should deserve 4stars instead of 3. One can tell that the family running this place has lot of experience : I hope their son continue the business ;-) High speed wifi, large bedroom, big bathroom, great breakfast (don't bother with fake French croissant, stick to good Swiss...

We stayed one night in July. The staff were very accommodating and the food not cheap but excellent. A good sized comfortable room; think modern chalet style. I highly recommend. The surrounding area is magnificent, but the hotel isn't in the centre of everything so transport is required. A bicycle would do it in the summer. All in all -...
