A world-famous mountain backdrop, adventure and nature. This is what holidays in Interlaken in the Bernese Oberland are all about. The Jungfraujoch, north face of the Eiger, Lake Thun and Lake Brienz, Grindelwald and Aare gorge. Whether you like it cosy or extremely sporty, there is something for every taste in this region. Relaxation is provided by the wellness area and the restaurant of the Hapimag Resort Interlaken.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
This is one of the best and memorable apartments stay in Switzerland. I stayed 2 nights with my family. The reason I selected Hapimag was because it an apartment with kitchenette and it is very near Interlaken OST train station, only a 5-6 min walk even with your luggage bags, don't need to take bus at all. I took a bus on the first day to hotel, I got lost and returned to Interlaken OST station, the time taken to wait for the bus is enough to walk and arrive at the resort.
My apartment unit is spacious, and it is facing the beautiful mountains, totally worth the extra paid just for you to see the mountains every morning when you wake up (except cloudy and foggy days). The utensils provided in the kitchenette are complete and brand new, in fact they are of reputable brand - MWF! There is a huge balcony in my unit with dining tables and chairs for outdoor dining while enjoying the view. Beds are comfortable, water pressure in bathroom is good. Completely satisfied.
There is bread order service for morning breakfast, self-collection from lobby in the early morning, we loved their breads so much! Fresh and fluffy! Recommended to sign up, you should not miss it. There is also a convenient store in the lobby. I wanted to try the heated swimming pool during my stay but unfortunately time does not permit. I look forward to returning here when I visit Interlaken again.

I am a Hapimag member so I am a little biased. This resort is on hotel booking sites to use up any spare capacity. If you are looking to save money on your Swiss holiday this could be a good choice. The apartments have a kitchen. No oven but you can get a microwave from reception. They are good sized apartments with views to the Jungfrau or Harder Kulm to the rear.. You have use of the swimming pool and the Spa(no clothes this is a German/Austrian style spa). The resort has a restaurant if you do not wish to eat in your apartment it also does take away. Reception has discount tickets for various attractions and are full of helpful advice. If you are lucky enough to book one of these apartments I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We stayed at Hapimag resort for 3 nights. The resort is 12 minutes of walk from Interlaken Ost station. There is a bus stop right in front of hotel as well. The apartments are very spacious. We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment and it was quite spacious. The living area and balconies were huge. There were plenty of towels in the apartment and you could still get more from reception if you needed for pool etc. Hotel also has a temperature controlled pool, an adventure pool and steam/sauna rooms. All fun facilities to enjoy at the end of a tiring day or when its raining outside. There are plenty of restaurants at walking distance. We had a garden view apartment and the view from balcony was beautiful. On a clear day, you could see the Jungfrau mountain from balcony. Checkout process was smooth and fast. Reception staff was well informed and helpful. Overall a very good stay. Things that could be better The decor of the apartment was somewhat underwhelming. Things like balcony flooring, and bathroom tiles were somewhat basic. They were clean but not much color or design. Bathroom tiles were plain white, balcony flooring was basic cement and the whole apartment had like two small paintings. They could do a bit more in terms of decor and make it feel more like a 4 star property. Also, our apartment was not quite ready when we checked in. It appears that there was a last moment change of rooms and sofa cum bed was not converted to bed in this apartment. We informed the front desk and the lady present immediately got into action. It took an additional 30 minutes or so to get it all ready from there.

We just stayed at the hotel / apartments for 3 nights. For the price per night for a one bedroom unit, it’s spacious but super basic in its accommodations. In the US you could expect to pay this much for a more comfortable bedding and better aesthetics. I would compare this to a best western feel. And there isn’t any room service as it’s an apartment set up, and concierge is closed during certain hours on the weekend, so service is pretty mediocre (again, for the price). However, the main benefit here is location. Interlaken is conveniently situated between multiple train stations and this hotel is very central to shops, dining and transit. That was the main benefit for us with two small kids. Food wise, again a surcharge at the restaurant attached (50 CHF per adult for continental breakfast ‘buffet’), though the convenience shop on the property and nearby options are useful. We had some noise in our room because of the casino nearby and our location wasn’t facing the mountains as pictured but once you step outside it is very scenic. Overall it was convenience over frills that swayed us to choose this spot and would recommend to others looking for similar, just manage expectations for price point.

We had a very disappointing experience here. For $560+ per night there is no air conditioning ( my bad I wasn’t aware of this) Atleast you expect a minimum fan in the room. The receptionist is extremely rude and not helpful at all. When we approached her to request for a fan she said I’m sorry I’m also hot too. She went on to say “ Open the door and you will be fine”. I told her we a room which has window opening to the ground and I was worried about bugs crawling inside the room. She went onto say , I will talk to someone and see what we I can do. More than 3 hours passed no help in 90 plus degrees heat , baking in the room. Later my husband went to ask her again for the fan and she said there is fan in every room if yours doesn’t have one I cannot go out and shop for you now. I understand this is touristy place, but the basic courtesy from the front desk is lacking. I would stay away from this place and look else where for the kind of money spent. You’ll be more happy staying at a place where you’re treated with respect and basic needs are accommodated.

the apartments are very spacious but somewhat spartan. The facilities in the resort itself are fine, the swimming pool and sauna are nice. The bar and restaurant adequate. One thing to be aware of is that it takes about an hour to get to the slopes, so location may not be as convenient as you think.

We try to supply everything a family or individual traveler might need for a shorter or longer stay with us and all our guests will find a fully equipped kitchen in their apartment including a nespresso coffee machine and high quality WMF cutlery. You are right; from Interlaken it will take approximately 1 hour to be at the top of the slopes, ready to hit the first runs. The great thing about our location though is that there is still plenty to do on a non-ski day with two lakes either side of Interlaken, the famous Harder hike right behind our resort or the fantastic train connections for a day trip to Bern or Luzern. I found this hotel to be excellent both in terms of facilities, the room and the staff. The surroundings complement its beauty and 5 star service. It is situated not far from the train station and very close to the main conference center. The self service is made easy by the fact that you are provided with everything you need in the room.

Hello, the sofa bed can take 2 adults. You would not need a/c in May. Max would be 25⁰C in daytime and nights would be cool especially as it is a mountainous area.

Thank you for your question. All our apartments have vents attached to a centralised ventilation system and individually controllable radiators for heating.
Whilst you are not able to cool the apartments individually, you have the possibility to close the shutters on each apartments' balcony to keep direct sunlight out and ensure it stays relatively cool even in summer.
