Stayed one night in this family run solid hotel down a side street off the main street. Room was a bit basic but fine. The dinner was excellent although the waitress was run off her feet. Meat was cooked at a sort of internal bbq. Breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again for the old charm atmosphere and the...

This old fashioned hotel was lots of fun. There were no lifts, only cash was possible for payment, there was very little English, but it did not matter. The staff members were so friendly and approachable. The single room was small, but value for money, it was adequate. I really enjoyed staying in a place that did things the old...

If you are looking for luxury then this is not the place to stay. But if you want a reasonably priced, well located and very comfortable base for a Swiss walking and/or sightseeing holiday, then the Adler-Central is just perfect. Rooms are clean and to Swiss standards, a basic but plentiful breakfast to set you up for the day and...

Stayed here for a week in September 2014, as a single with half board. I had friends in Wengen so went off to visit them for a couple of days. My bill was reduced by nearly two days and although I said I'd pay the full amount, they insisted that I didn't. The rooms are basic but clean with ensuite...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for five nights in August. (I had stayed there several times twenty years ago.) It is quiet (located away from the main street), clean, and simple and close to the train station and the lift to Reuti. The restaurant serves very good grilled meat dishes and seems to be a popular spot...

This hotel is a bargain in Meiringen, its great value for money when compared to other hotels. The rooms are adequate, clean, and cheap, I coudlnt find fault - but do not expect 5* quality or facilities. The room was comparabel to anoteh r4* hotel Ive stayed at in teh town, and was less than half teh price. Not much...

Myself and a group of friends have been staying at the Hotel Adler for a week every June since 2000. My parents stayed there for many years before that. It is a traditional, no frills, local pub with rooms. It is very much the centre of village life. The rooms are clean, basic and all with ensuite facilties. It is...

The hotel room was basic but OK for the price; a bit cramped, no fridge or air conditioning, rather rickety wardrobe, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Hotel seemed a little disorganised - it took a while for them to work out which room they had allocated us. Breakfast was, again, basic by Swiss standards but fine...
