St. Moritz is not cheap - nothing is cheap, not even a cup of coffee. Hotel Languard is a small family owned and run property. We were warmly welcomed and upgraded to a lovely room with the most amazing views of the Alps and Lake - it was truly beautiful. The hotel is right in town and easy walk to...

I stayed 3 days at Hotel Languard in September 2016, and I am already planning to return for much longer! Despite the unfortunate weather, my stay in St. Moritz was made memorable by the hotel's hard-working owner, Franka, who is the heart and the soul of the place, and who goes to great lengths to make her guests happy. Her...

My sister and I stayed here for two nights on our recent trip to Switzerland to experience The Bernina and Glacier Expresses. Due to a sudden 24 hrs. transport strike in Italy that morning, it was touch and go if we would even make our connections/hotel reservations. The train station itself is undergoing a massive modernisation, so we were feeling...

I had made a mistake by booking an different hotel on the wrong date. (A first after many travels....no excuse 😁). Upon discovering our mistake our taxi driver quickly called Hotel Languard and booked us a room. We stay, more often then not in 4-5 star hotels. This hotel is a 3 star and while some aspects speak to that...

While St, Moritz is quite pricey, this hotel offered reasonable rates, including free parking and breakfast. The staff was super nice and helpful. The location was perfect for walking thru the village and accessing the mountains several different ways. I will stay here again when I return.

We stayed here one night, so we could do the full Glacier Express. It was the cheapest private room accommodation in town. Still pretty pricey for what it is but we learnt that St Moritz is one of the most expensive ski resorts, whoops! It was a decent walk uphill from the train station with luggage, but basically everything is...

We arrived in the beautiful village of St. Moritz just as my wife was coming down with the flu. We were traveling with our 12-month old daughter, and the hotel staff was very sympathetic and accommodating. While I had breakfast with our daughter, the staff prepared a small plate of fruit and brought it up to our room for my...
