Definitely old world charm. Do wander around downstairs near the breakfast area - beautiful old furniture and a lovely area to sit and relax. We had a side view of the lake from our room and we could sit on the balcony. The staff were excellent with suggestions. The breakfast waiter very charming. From the railway station, there is a... This is an older hotel that management wants guests to feel is not outdated. The hotel has some nice antiques including older clocks in public areas that do not run. The hotel rooms are extremely small. I brought only a medium size suitcase; but when it was open you could not find space to walk in the room. There are... More

The views of Lake St. Moritz and the surrounding mountains from our room were absolutely stunning. At an elevation of almost 6,000 feet, the air was crisp in the morning. Shortly after checking in, we left the hotel for a walk around the lake. It took us about 1 and ½ hours. The views in every direction were beautiful. Although... More

This is an older hotel which has interesting furnishings in public areas. However, the rooms are very small. If you leave your suitcase open, there is no room to walk inside your room. The bathroom is also quite small. No balcony. My room looked at hiotel rooms facing my room. Some guests told me they could see Lake Geneva. The... More

Couldn't have asked for anything more - fantastic service, provided us with everything we needed and more. They went out of their way to ensure we saw the best that St Moritz could offer. Wonderful view and were able to help us get around where we needed. Great Bircher for breakfast Highly recommended! Also have a great hotel dog!

It was agreed with the hotel that the chauffeur would help us carrying our luggage onto the train at the train station because we had to handle 2 bikes. The chauffeur came with the luggage and dropped them on the pavement telling that handling the luggage to the train was not his problem => Swiss welcome way of doing business

From the train station you can catch the number 3 bus (your Swiss train pass covers it) to the center of town and walk (maybe 10 minutes) to the hotel. It is not a difficult walk. Plus: Beautiful view of the lake! Pretty nice rooms, average size. No AC but night air was cool during our stay and windows open... More
