I have been a guest in the hotel Soldanella for years, and I love the old St. Moritz atmosphere, and kind hospitality which the hotel has to offer. They have a great restaurant, cool bar, and very nice quite rooms.

My wife and I stayed one night at Soldanella before taking Bernina Express to Tirano the following morning. Initial plan was just that - arrive to St. Moritz late, have a good night sleep and continue with Bernina Express the next day. After all it was September and St. Moritz in a skiing resort. But as it some times happened... More

If you use the spa, you have to pay 25chf per time. They told me that sauna is not free in summer season. October is summer in st. Moritz! Mamma mia! They didn't give me any information in advance. And a staff at the front desk was terrible!!!

twowheeltours stayed at Soldanella during the Haute Route Dolomites cyclosportif. What a grand hotel, it was like stepping back into time in this classic hotel, with the exception of being updated to the modern times. The rooms were spacious with amazing views of the lake. They were very comfortable, super clean, the staff is great, speaking fluent English and the... More

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and reasonably spacious with a nice view of the lake. The breakfast buffet was good and had a nice variety of the usual Swiss breakfast options.

I stayed here for two nights on July 1st and 2nd. We had just taken the Glacier Express from Zermatt and got to St. Moritz in the late afternoon and got the shuttle from the train station to the hotel. I was quite happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and how friendly the staff was. We ate dinner in... More

Staff are great, location not bad, nice hotel. But the manager is a smoker so he allows smoking in the hotel. The idea of a relaxing drink in the bar is ruined by second hand smoke. If you're a non-smoker steer clear of this hotel.
