We stayed two night in this charming B&B located in the old town of Locarno. The rooms were spacious and very clean with a very artsy design! We were surprised by the creative breakfast beautifully made by mother and daughter. Very tasty with great coffee! There is a nice garden outside, but it was not yet operational for breakfast. In...

Caffè dell'Arte is situated in a quiet street a few steps from Piazza Grande. We were received cordially with a coffee - be surprised how this is prepared! - and found a beautiful room with coffeemaker. The big surprise came with the breakfast: It must be separately booked but it is worth it! Go there if you can.

This is an unique place to stay. We enjoyed our four nights, and the staff made us feel very welcome with nothing being too much trouble. Maria-Teresa even walked my wife to the local hospital emergency room when she feared a possible dvt after our long flight: that's above and beyond!

We recently stayed at the Caffe dell'Arte in Locarno. My girlfriend booked the place for my birthday weekend. The rooms are located above a decor shop. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and for it being my birthday even gave us a room upgrade. The room had a nice sitting area and a quiet bedroom. The room...

The hotel is quite quirky, with each room having a name and a different decor. There was a bedroom and a separate sitting room. Our room had a nice little balcony that looked out into the courtyard below. The breakfast was lovely. Where else do you have a breakfast "for the seduction of the senses" as the placement declared?

We liked this place a lot. It is not a typical Hotel; it's a friendly place to stay. Staff and owner make a great effort, that the guests feel well. We felt very well there. You can find some complaints on tripadvisor about "Caffe dell'Arte Boutique Rooms". We didn't mind that it's an old house with some really very minor...

We spent one night at Caffe dell'Arte. This place is really special, has a wonderful ambience and is colored with lovely details. The stuff is very friendly and helpful. Every room is furnished differently with a specific theme. It's located in the the picturesque alleyways of the old town. Shops and restaurants are near by.

Wonderful small boutique hotel with only a handful of rooms. Great location near Piazza Grande in the old town of Locarno. The very warm and friendly staff makes you feel very welcome. Every room is unique and has a completely different style. The rooms have no a/c thus nights can become pretty hot during summertime. Overall a great experience and...

“for couples who prefer a bigger room, with a little balcony, you should ask for the room called 'poesia d'amore'. if you prefer a simple small room, because you mostly will spend time outside then the cheaper and smaller room called 'come nelle favole' is sufficient.”

“Not much English, but with free WIFI, and google translate, and the managers neice on the end of a mobile phone, everything was easy and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely people... and a lovely story behind the fellow who this place is founded after. Lovely.”
