It wasn't a nice hotel from the outside but hey, don't judge a book by it cover. The rooms inside were renovated new nice bathrooms & small balconies. Well insolated so we didn't hear any noise from the other rooms The breakfast was good nothing over the top. Management was very friendly and helpful. We had been for the wine...

The hotel is great for a short stay or if your are going for business. The rooms are nicely renewed, specious, luminous and cleaned. The location is just very central 5-10 min walk to the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The wifi is free so that's always a big plus!

The hotel is located between the train station and the old town in the center of the city. The room facing the backyard was quiet and otherwise okay. The breakfast was very nice with plenty different food. Waiter and manager were very friendly.

A nice stop on our way to the Swiss Alps - Matterhorn. The rooms were clean as was the functional bathroom. Service was professional and friendly. The beds were not of good quality, though. The breakfast is included with the room and was very decent.

The word 'Elite' is a misnomer. The rooms I stayed in (they moved me around a bit) were shabby, the narrow bed uncomfortable, and the noise from the street loud at times. The worst are the 'bathrooms', which tiny plastic modules containing wash hand basin, WC and shower all in the space of a smart car. Interesting (not) if you...

Good value two star hotel in a good location. Rooms were simple clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are small but cute a bit like an airline bathroom with a small shower. Reception staff were very helpful and efficient. Parking is available behind the hotel. There are lots of Cafés, restaurants and bars close to the hotel.

Stayed here 2 nights for a working holiday in Sion. I endorse completely the previous review from Isabel Smyth who stayed in room 31. We were in 36, which was similar. The Mexican tapas bar suited me well too. Hotel Elite has quite a cosy atmosphere and I'd certainly stay there again. Staff are obliging in the main but I...

We stayed 5 nights in Hotel Elite, which was chosen for us by the organizers of a Conference we were attending near Sion. This hotel is located just 5 minutes from the railway station - walk up the Avenue de la Gare to the Manor Shopping Mall and then turn right into Av du Midi. For a 2-star hotel it...

Sion is a beautiful small town in Rhone valley wine country, however, there are not many hotels to choose from in town. Our years of travel experience have taught us that location is important when selecting a hotel and the Hotel Elite is perfectly situated in the center of Sion on Avenue Du Midi. It's walking distance to restaurants, shopping,...

I was quite worried about staying here after reading other reviews however I couldn't have been happier. I was part of a group travelling to Sion for a meeting and when arrived the hotel was very busy so was put in a "cheaper room" - the room was large and had TV, wifi (payable) and was pleasantly decorated. This room...
