My wife and I stayed here for a few nights early in September. The people at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. There is also a nice bar inside. The hotel is a bit out of the way--about a 15 minute tram ride to the city center, but is very doable when you're not pressed for time. At times we ended up taking a Uber/taxi--cost was about 15-18 Swiss francs. There is a busy street with restaurants and shops about a 1 5 minute walk from the hotel. The only issue with the room is the bathroom door. It's a glass door with the Holiday Inn logo and design. There are parts of the design that include clear stripes across the door that allow someone to have an unobstructed view inside the bathroom. Make sure to make a deal with whoever you're sharing the room with to not go by the bathroom when the other person is inside.…
Just needs improvement on the air conditioner , gets warm at the middle of the night . The staff is excellent , very helpful in many ways inspite of being understaffed .I will be encouraging friends and family to stay in this hotel .
A wonderful, clean and cosy hotel. Very good breakfast. Properly equipped room, comfortable bed and proper pillows. Especially thank you, for the very friendly service. Receptionist very professional, prepared to check-in ( despite the late hour). We were given all the information about the services, offered a free up grate. I am very demanding but had no reservations. I recommend
Right in front at Hallenstadion Arena , perfect place to assist at concert without parking or local transportation worries. Big executive room , quite with clean bathroom, complete with all bath amenities . Breakfasts is average , verty nice and big parking lot
The hotel is really good. The rooms are well decorated and it’s very well placed. The people there are polite. The only thing is the breakfast. It could be better. The croissant weren’t good and there’s too much pork. For someone like me who doesn’t eat pork it’s hard to have a good breakfast. Either way, it’s good! 8,5/10 :))
The best part of this hotel is its ease of access to the city, the bus stop is right outside the hotel and the tram station a couple of 100 metres away. If you speak Swiss German you will find it absolutely easy to travel in the local transport from your hotel. People are quite helpful especially Laurel from the front desk who tried to help out with all my questions on how to get by. I would have preferred a continental breakfast spread to be included or at least a live omlet station but this property didn't have this facility for breakfast. The croissants and museli were definitely very good. Had a very pleasant stay here.
Stayed here as it was convenient for a gig at the Hallenstadion across from the hotel. The room was on the 6th floor, relatively quiet and clean. Good choice of food at breakfast. Very good transport links into the centre of Zurich from the hotel. The only small criticism is the bar - they need more staff to cope with the gig goers but overall a really nice stay.
Good business hotel ! Smiling welcome, Clean rooms, Nice bar with a short menu yet enough for a quick bite. Good transport facilities just outside the hotel. Quiet rooms, clean and spacious with good guest amenities. Had a good stay and would recommend.
My stay at Holyday Inn Zürich was very comfortable, the room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was something for everyone at the breakfast buffet and the food was very fresh There was something for everyone at the breakfast buffet and the food was very fresh. I will definitely come back.
Stayed at the Hokiday Inn as I had business in Oerlikon. Friendly staff, no hassles, decent breakfast buffet and chilled bar (inside/outside). Didn't notice any noise disturbances from street out front. Will stay again when back in Zurich on business.
